The result was delete. I'm leaving this up to editors to create a redirect since no target was proposed here. Liz Read! Talk! 06:31, 3 July 2022 (UTC)

A BEFORE search does not turn up any coverage, let alone significant coverage. There are some sources in the Persian Wikipedia version of the article, but they did not appear to meet SIGCOV. As a populated place without legal recognition, it is not presumed notable under WP:GEOLAND. HouseBlastertalk 17:24, 19 June 2022 (UTC)

- Delete per nom. I redirected the article previously but was reverted. versacespaceleave a message! 20:59, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- Comment:
I don't understand what was going on with the revert mentioned above, but this is clearly a matter that does not require AFD; the article can simply be redirected through the ordinary wiki process. On the other hand, as it stands, there does not appear to be any salvageable content in this article, so there would be no real difference between a delete-and-redirect and a merge-and-redirect. -- Visviva (talk) 02:30, 20 June 2022 (UTC)I see that this approach has been approved based on a 2018 RFC, although it still seems like an incredibly bad idea. -- Visviva (talk) 03:03, 20 June 2022 (UTC)

- Redirect per nom and WP:GEOLAND. -- Visviva (talk) 04:06, 27 June 2022 (UTC)
- If the material about the pollution issue can be sourced and merged into the main article, I would choose that; otherwise delete as is usual for non-notable city neighborhoods. Mangoe (talk) 01:04, 28 June 2022 (UTC)
