- Not sure why this page has been marked for deletion - it certainly needs expanding which I will do when possible, but Microdisney is one of the most highly regarded bands of the 1980s, and the subject of more than one documentary, and this is their final release on a major label. I have added the stub tag. Verlaine76 (talk) 17:04, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
Delete:An album of a highly regarded band is not a sign of notability. rather expand enough at sandbox or draftspace, then create.––kemel49(connect)(contri) 04:15, 12 November 2024 (UTC)- There's a whole BBC documentary that discusses this album amongst others. The album is definitely notable. Verlaine76 (talk) 16:28, 12 November 2024 (UTC)

- You have just under a week to improve the article then. With the sources you say are out there, it shouldn't be difficult. As is, a redirect is likely. StarcheerspeaksnewslostwarsTalk to me 17:10, 12 November 2024 (UTC)
- We now have 11 sources, including the BBC, the British music press of the time (Melody Maker, Hot Press), and academic published work. Is that enough? Verlaine76 (talk) 14:31, 13 November 2024 (UTC)

- Keep given recent expansion and establishment of notability via high quality sources. Ceoil (talk) 15:08, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep. The critical reception sources are enough for me to think this passes WP:NALBUMS now. Ss112 16:17, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep - per recent expansion + refs - Alison talk 18:29, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep: WP:HEY applies; the album meets the general and specific requirements for notability. (Note to nominator: A better BEFORE should have been performed given the notability of the band. Thank you.) Mushy Yank (talk) 19:28, 13 November 2024 (UTC)
- Keep According to WP:Notability (music)#Recordings a recording is notable if:
- The recording has been the subject of multiple, non-trivial, published works appearing in sources that are reliable, not self-published, and are independent from the musician or ensemble who created it. (The album was the subject of reviews in the music press of the time and has also been discussed in subsequent magazines and papers of record as referenced here)
- The recording has been a featured subject of a substantial broadcast segment across a national radio or television network. (the album was discussed in the documentary The Story of Microdisney: The Clock Comes Down the Stairs, broadcast nationally on BBC television, as well as the radio Documentary "Iron Fist in a Velvet Glove" which was broadcast nationally by Newstalk FM in Ireland.)
