Another article in the German Refugee Crime walled garden. This one survived AfD on the basis that it would prove to be a watershed moment that would change German immigration policy. But the failure of it to meet WP:SUSTAINED subsequently suggests this was false. While it's a more marginal case than the other nominees in this group, it still at best marginally in line with WP:EVENTCRIT and its failure in WP:SUSTAINED make me think it should be deleted. • Fact Check the previous AfD was unanimous "keep."E.M.Gregory (talk) 13:24, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • A decision to keep derived from a failure of WP:CRYSTAL wherein people claimed that there would be some sort of transformation in German immigration policy from this. That subsequently did not occur. And it doesn't meet WP:SUSTAINED so its one NYT article hardly counts as significant. Simonm223 (talk) 13:33, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep per WP:SIGCOV - look at the first source, a deep dive into this crime by the New York Times. WP:TROUT this frivolous nomination of major crime that has received WP:SIGCOV nationally and internationally. Note that a documentary about this crime was broadcast on television in June 2018, well after last AfD closed.E.M.Gregory (talk) 13:04, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • If there's one thing this nomination is definitely not, it's "frivolous". Deb (talk) 18:24, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - SIGCOV. Continuing national[1][2] / international [3] coverage through fall 2018. Icewhiz (talk) 14:41, 7 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • WP:HEY, I added some sources to meet Nom's allegation that coverage has not been SUSTAINED. In re: Nom: this is hardly a Wikipedia:Walled garden, lots of links coming in, going out.E.M.Gregory (talk) 22:17, 8 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep, WP:HEY applies, there is continuing and sustainable coverage of the crime.--Greywin (talk) 21:42, 13 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
