- Comment: I'd expect there to be a Planetary Defense Conference article that this could be merged to. Is the conference itself not notable? SevenSpheres (talk) 14:52, 13 June 2024 (UTC)
- Good idea. A quick Google search shows the conference to be held in every odd numbered year. Last year was Vienna; next year Cape Town. Each seems to be reported by the United Nations and by some other reliable source. We could start by simply renaming the existing notional asteroid article to Planetary Defense Conference, then generalizing the first paragraph and adding bullet points or perhaps even sections about later editions.
