The result was redirect to List of earthquakes in New Zealand. Clear consensus that this doesn't merit a stand-alone article. I'm going to redirect this to List of earthquakes in New Zealand. @Power~enwiki: Please post a link that supports the idea that there is a lower threshold for inclusion on the lists vs stand alone articles. The documentation should be from a member of WP:EARTHQUAKES. Also, the list problem is something that we have been working on for several years and this is a fine opportunity to discuss it.
