The Peninsula Pilots play at Historic War Memorial Stadium, which was named for those who served in World War 2. There have been many Single A teams that played at this stadium. However, since 2000 the Peninsula Pilots have been playing at this stadium. Henry Mrgan purchased the team in 2001 and continues to own it. The Pilots are a part of the Coastal Plain League. This league provides competitive baseball for college students when they are not playing for their college. Apricot Speed Eating
[edit]
Apricot Speed Eating History[edit]The first recorded Apricot Speed Eating (ASE) contest was held in Berkeley, California in the summer of 2007. The winner was 27 year old Peter Kaes, with a time of 2.84 seconds. Second place was Mike Seltzer. Rules[edit]The goal of ASE is to consume an apricot (not including the pit) as quickly as possible. All contestants must begin with their hands placed on their legs and the apricot sitting on a table-like surface. At the "begin" call, players can use whatever techniques desired to consume the fruit, so long as all of the apricot is ingested. When finished, the contestant must open their mouth, revealing no remaining pieces. Strategy[edit]Numerous gameplans were created by the initial contestants to minimize the required time to down the apricot. Some sort of bite, follwed by some direction of rotation was the most popular strategy. Mr. Kaes achieved his sub-three second time by biting the apricot along the seam and then rotating in a direction perpendicular to that seam. Apricot Speed Eating has presumably long been a mostly underground event. With the first public competition bringing light to the sport in 2007, event organizers hope to see strong growth in the fruitful competition over the next few years. The 2008 event should bring in as many as 40 contestants and could score a slot on local public access television stations. Source: PBK Daily Journal, issue 12 vol 3, 12 May 2007 Declined. The first internet community legend. madunit began at the official Wests Tigers forum back in July 2003. madunit quickly made his way to the top of the list for most posts for the forum, reaching 3600 posts before the forum server crashed and was unable to continue in its current form, in January 2005. During that time however, madunit also became a member at the League Unlimited websites forum, on September 14, 2003. After 2 months of trolling in the Souths forum, and several warnings, madunit found himself in LU's Firkin Fun Bar, where he was quickly established as an icon, alongside other forummers, Forum Idiot, Raider_69, Ron Jeremy and [furrycat]. In December 2004, madunit was banned for making repeated comments towards a group of forummers that were putrid, vile and blatant breaches of the sites guidelines. He was consequently suspended for 3 weeks. At the time he was also the member with most posts at LU with just over 3500. When he returned from his ban in January 2005, the official Wests Tigers forum had closed down, and 2500 of his posts at LU had been deleted and pruned. However, his return was met by the opening of a new forum called The Fight Club. madunit became a moderator of TFC, and then over the next few months became moderator of Firkin Fun Bar, Wests Tigers forum, Manly Forum, NRL Forum, State Of Origin Forum, NSWRL Forum, Cronulla Forum, Music Forum, Controversy Corner and Computer Games Forums. Since that time, he has been one of the few members to reach 25000 posts. His comments are always entertaining and his blatant intentional arrogance towards most members purely for his own amusement is one of his most commonly known traits. His ability to abuse members is also another great trait.

Miniclip & Free Online Games. What does this mean? Basically it is just pure fun. I`m sure you all heard about Flash Arcade sites or Miniclip or other sinonyms that have the same meaning. You just visit google and type miniclip and thousands if not millions of results pop-up. A good example is http://hotduels.com ... I discovered this site by scrolling down on google's results for miniclip. When i visited the site i got that feeling: "Ohhh it's just another typical flash games site". But as i read a few game titles i realised that i didn`t see these games before. I tried one... And another.. And soon i reached my 10 games / day limit. Then without having second thoughts i clicked register, and discovered a great world of rare games, friends and best of all Prizes. You join free but can earn money just by playing the game of the month or participating in the contests. It is great, i recommend it to everyone. Miniclip & Free Online Games I hope you`ll like this article and i wait for your feedback about HotDuels.

A NOP slide as it is commonly called, or NOP sled, is a sequence of NOP (no-operation) instructions (Intel x86 opcode 0x90) meant to "slide" the CPU's instruction execution flow to its final, desired, destination. Generally a NOP slide will be used in cases where execution will branch into a position that cannot be determined with absolute accuracy, therefore "padding" the memory area before and after the approximate branch address is performed in hopes to avoid an exception which causes will cause the program or system to crash. Once the CPU branches anywhere within the NOP slide its IP (Instruction Pointer) will "slide" to its final destination, where there is valid code to be executed.

Thomas Skelton was the 'Fool' or Jester of Muncaster Castle, he spent many hours of his time sitting under a tree. When a traveller passed by he would speak with them and decide whether or not he liked them. If he didn't he would send them towards the marshlands and quicksands. His ghost supposedly haunts the castle to this day. Tom was the executioner when the local carpenter fell in love with Helwise Pennington on the orders of Sir Ferdinand Pennington, The punishment was beheading. Tom Fool died around 1600. A full length portrait of Tom Fool now hangs in Muncaster castle, where he supposedly haunts many visitors evenings. The portrait depicts him standing holding a staff and a document. When the will was written he was resident in Haigh Hall, Wigan. There is some question as to whether Tom Skelton ever lived in Muncaster castle or whether the stories arose after the portrait was moved from Haigh to Muncaster. A slightly modernised version of the text of the will in the portrait is: From http://freespace.virgin.net/past.presented/tomfool3.htm Be it known to ye, oh grave and wise men all, That I Thom Fool am Sheriff of ye Hall, I mean the Hall of Haigh, where I command What neither I nor you do understand. My Under Sheriff is Ralph Wayte you know, As wise as I am and as witty too. Of Egremond I have Burrow Serjeant beene, Of Wiggan Bailiff too, as may be seen By my white staff of office in my hand, being carried straight as the badge of my command: A low high constable too was once my calling, Which I enjoyed under kind Henry Rawling; And when the Fates a new Sheriff send, I'm Under Sheriff prick'd World without end. He who doth question my authority May see the seal and patten here ly by. The dish with luggs which I do carry here Shews all my living is in good strong beer. If scurvy lads to me abuses do, I'll call 'em scurvy rogues and rascals too. Fair Dolly Copeland in my cap is placed; Monstrous fair is she, and as good as all the rest. Honest Nich. Pennington, honest Ths. Turner, both Will bury me when I this world go forth. But let me not be carry'd o'er the brigg, Lest falling I in Duggas River ligg; Nor let my body by old Charnock lye, But by Will. Caddy, for he'ee lye quietly And when I'm bury'd then my friends may drink, But each man pay for himself, that's best I think. This is my Will, and this I know will be Perform'd by them as they have promised me. Sign'd, Seal'd, Publish'd, and Declared in the presence of HENRY RAWLING HENRY TROUGHTON THS. TURNER THS. Robert Weimar (born 13th May 1932 in Cologne) is a German professor of law and psychologist. Weimar is particularly concerned with German and European commercial law, and furthermore, he deals with the psychological and neuro-scientific fundamentals of juristic thinking and decision-making (see neuro-jurisprudence, neuro-administratics, legal psychology). His basic scientific position is set out in his work “Psychological Structures of Judicial Decision” (German: “Psychologische Strukturen richterlicher Entscheidung”, 1969, reprinted 1996), which is considered to be a legal psychology classic. Weimar’s central thesis is that we only have access to reality as communicated by interpretations (“ways of worldmaking”). The later publication “Neuro-jurisprudence – Introduction to the New Jurisprudence and Practice of Law” (German: “Neurojurisprudenz – Einführung in die Neue Rechtswissenschaft und Praxis des Rechts”, 2007) provides subsequent analyses. Weimar is also the founder of the academic field of legal advice (see publications by Weimar, 1986, 1988, 1997, 1998), which has in the meantime become generally established in the law faculties in Germany since the attorney-oriented opening of legal training. Life[edit]Robert Weimar studied jurisprudence at the Universities of Cologne, Bonn, Heidelberg, Inns-bruck and Basel, as well as psychology at the University of Basel. He took the First State Law Examination at the Higher Regional Court in Cologne in 1956 and the Second State Law Examination at the State Examination Office for Legal Professions in Duesseldorf in 1960. He took the licentiate examination (lic.iur.utr.) at the University of Basel and received his doc-torate as a doctor iuris utriusque in 1965 under Karl Spiro in Basel. In 1967 he earned a doc-torate as philosophiae doctor et artium liberalium magister at the University of Basel under Hans Kunz. Under Martin Hautzinger (Tuebingen), Weimar was awarded the state licence to practice psychotherapy (Mainz 1995). Weimar completed subsequent postgraduate studies with the LL.M. Dimaension X (located in central Massachusetts), formed in 1991 by multi-instrumentalist Dave Lanciani, is an instrumental band that fuses elements of heavy metal, space rock, and jazz-rock fusion. In Dimaension X, Lanciani (currently) records and plays all instruments entirely on his own. Additionally, Lanciani has collaborated with several bands via the internet, and is currently collaborating on a multi-media CD project with a comic illustrator. He has been playing guitar longer than any other instrument, and is completely self-taught in all other instruments (bass, keyboards, and drums). He cannot read or write formal music notation, but does use some simple music theory, such as modal improvisation, chord structures and progressions from major/minor keys. Egoist is the name of a posthum Falco song. It should have been on the album Egoisten, which is renamed to Out of the Dark (Into the Light). It was very succesful in the German-speaking countries. It reached the Top 10 in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The song was released, because of Falco's death. The song is about a person (Falco), who seems to be very successfull, but he only thinks of himself. Some parts of the text are: (lyrics removed - copyvio in United States). Those lyrics were Falco's own words. In many interviews he used them to describe his success. Sources[edit]80.109.98.103 21:13, 15 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Greenstroke (hyperchromia), is an acute condition which occurs when the body is exposed to excessive amount of green light. It is usually caused by prolonged periods spent in front of chromakey backdrops, as used in the digital effects industry. The colour-regulating mechanisms of the body eventually become overwhelmed and unable to effectively compensate for the excessive amounts of green. Progression[edit]Saturation levels beyond 80%, usually only found in green screens located in direct sunlight, can cause temporary blindness, and in severe cases extreme nausia. History[edit]The condition was first discovered in 2007 whilst a BBC crew were filming Attila the Hun in Bulgaria. Visual Effects producer (Tony Gilbert) soon fell ill after spending 5 continuous days in front of an outdoor 20ft green screen cove that reflected direct sunlight. Other crew members including Luke Wilmot also experienced mild symptoms, which were soon alleviated by wearing dark sunglasses. Halo: Code Pramape is a spoof tribute to the 2001 video game Halo: Combat Evolved. In each episode of HCP, one episode of Halo is parodied. Pramape (PRActice MAkes PErfect) involves non-Halo characters such as Dr. Evil, from Austin Powers. For example, the first episode parodies 343 Guilty Spark, and Master Chief meets a mutant zombie which had an accent from Monty Python's Holy Grail. The second episode parodied Truth and Reconciliation. The episode had a Star Wars beginning, and the author had claimed he had no ideas at the end, so a giant O fell from the sky. Sources[edit][8]

Nick Jackson, also known as Nub, is a fictional character in our real world. He is said to exist, but few know for sure. When seen, he tends to annoy others or try to hard to impress them. When doing said actions he basically makes others feel better about themselves, because he is such a newbie at life. He tends to fail while playing popular video games, such as Halo: Combat Evolved, its sequel, Halo 2, Guitar Heroes I and II, and Dance Dance Revolution (DDR). Common actions of the species include playing 86 hours of Call Of Duty 2 per day and nubbing at previous listed video games. Commonly seen in the company of such notable figures as Heath Willis, Alex (Cislius) Hale, Logan Garth, Matt Gregory, Cyrus Hunter, and on rare occasions Mikey McKinley, this organism tends to feed off of others hatred. The prime example of this is Nick Jackson's so called "relationship" with Heath. Heath despises the fiber of Nicks being and in return Nick tries to do everything in his power to make Heath like him. It can be seen on many occasions that Nick sucks up to Heath. Heath on the other hand has made some comments about this "friend" of his. Father Junipero Serra, the Franciscan friar who came to the Americas to preach his faith, died in 1784 and was buried with two holy relics. These personal burial effects included his stole and a crucifix. They were both found on his body by Reverend Angelo Casanova. The stole was essentially cut into three sections and distributed to Serra's admirers. The crucifix was found on Fr. Serra's neck and was one of the most important pieces of evidence for identifying his body between two other Reverend Fathers buried next to him.
The Stole[edit]There were three violet stoles found, one on each of the Reverend Fathers and one on Fr. Serra himself. The one on Serra was separated into one large piece, one smaller piece, and a third piece which was, like the other stoles found, cut into very small parts. History[edit]The largest section was kept with Casanova at the Royal Presidio Chapel in Monterey until 1893, when it changed hands for the first time. Casanova gave it to Christiano Machado, a devoted admirer of Fr. Serra, before he died. Machado, in turn, gave it to his friend Reverend Monsignor Henrique Ribeiro when he caught a deadly illness. Ribeiro took it to the Five Wounds Church in San Jose. The stole section stayed there until 1938 when it was returned to Mission Carmel, the burial place of Fr. Serra. The smaller section was first given to Mr. Machado due to his strong devotion. In 1930 his daughter, Mary Ann, gives the heirloom to the first permanent priest of the Carmel Mission, Rev. Michael Murphy. A few years later, Murphy gives the stole piece to the Mission Curator, Harry Downie. Downie later got a hold of the large piece, which had yet to be confirmed as part of the stole, and compared the two. The verdict was that the larger piece was in fact part of the stole of Fr. Serra. The third section was separated into many small pieces for the public to own. This section could never be completely reconstructed, but there was a piece which Downie received that came with a letter of authenticity written by Casanova. In 1945 all three sections were confirmed as part of the stole of Fr. Junipero Serra.
The Crucifix[edit]History[edit]The burial crucifix was actually found during his 1943 exhumation, many years after the body of Fr. Serra was found. When his body was examined, the examiners found a green stain on the neck of the presumed body of Fr. Serra. The stain was cleaned and was found to be a crucifix of bronze. Symbolism[edit]The crucifix itself is modeled after the Cruz de Caravaca or Caravaca cross. It has one crossbeam in the middle and another near the top. Above the upper crossbeam lies the inscription INRI which is the widely used acronym for Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum which translates to “Jesus the Nazarene the King of the Jews.” On the left part of the lower crossbeam (if you are looking at it) are the letters IHS which are the first three letters of the Greek name for Jesus, Ihsus. On the right part are placed the letters AM which stand for the Latin words Ave Maria. Hanging on the upper crossbeam is an effigy of Jesus being crucified. Below that is Our Lady of Sorrows, and beneath Our Lady is a skull and crossbones. This symbolizes the biblical place where Jesus was crucified, Golgotha or the Place of the Skull. Structure[edit]The crucifix is actually made up of more than one part. There is the front, with all of the symbols, and then there is a back part which could be opened scissors-wise to reveal nine strips of paper, each signed by the “Blessed Raymond Lull of Mallorca.” The Blessed Raymond was clearly a part of the University of Mallorca, founded by Fr. Serra himself. The shape and make of the crucifix labeled it as a piece of either Italian or Spanish creation. The body with the cross was then labeled as one from Mallorca. Fr. Serra founded the University and was also a Spaniard, thus the archeologists confirmed the body as the late Father Junipero Serra.
