Overview[edit]

KAZR-CA is the Azteca America television affiliate in Reno, Nevada. The station is owned by Pappas Telecasting. It broadcasts its analog signal on UHF channel 46.

The station is located inside the Meadowood Mall in Reno, near South Virginia Street & South McCarran Boulevard. The mailing address is 5166 Meadowood Mall Circle, Reno, NV 89502. KAZR's sister station, KREN-TV, is also located at the mall facility.

KAZR airs a 30-minute Spanish-language newscast, Monday through Friday, at 6:00 p.m. The very same newscast is re-broadcast (repeated) at 11:00 p.m. and 1:00 a.m. The newscast is titled "Noticias Azteca Reno".
