Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2007/Vote/Danny

I have decided to withdraw my candidacy. It seems like my chances of winning this election are negligible, and there is no need to provide yet another forum for personal attacks. I am grateful to everyone who voted for me, and to most of the people who opposed me as well, who did so out of good faith. On the other hand, I am saddened by some of the comments, which, if said under normal circumstances, would get people hauled before the Arb Comm instead of voting for it. Good luck to all the other candidates. And to the winners, I hope that you succeed in restoring some of the trust and camaraderie that once made Wikipedia a very pleasant place to collaborate and share ideas and knowledge.
