Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee Elections December 2007/Candidate statements/Secret
Well I been in wikipedia since 2005, an admin since June 2006, and successfully reconfirmed in July 2007. I have over 23,000 edits in both accounts. I used to be Jaranda, but left that account for reasons most of you guys know. I came back using this account, and apologized, as I was acting immature. I feel like I am experienced enough for ArbCom. I have mediation experiences, especially in sports articles, which it's one of the most underated topics in wikipedia and would toughened up for the arbcom workload. I read almost every arbcom case since late 2005, and I am experienced with how they work. I am a strong follower of copyright laws and WP:BLP, and I'm willing to put my long-term knowledge of this site to work here. I'm tired of people getting harassed out of this project, and I would put a zero tolerance solution in place to any editor who tries to harass another person. I also believe that wikipedia will learn from the criticism it gets, as this site isn't perfect as some people thinks it is. I know I "left" several times before, but that wasn't because of burnout, rather other situations that was unexpected, and I do care about the project tremendously. I also noticed that there are some editors who really doesn't want to contribute to the project, and gets off here. What they don't get is that this is an encyclopedia and people who don't want to build it doesn't belong here in wikipedia. I would make sure to keep it this way if I get elected.
Also note I apologized to Jimbo about the Mzoli Meats incident, that was bad on my part, and that was the only case in which I abused the tools.
