Virginia's 71st House of Delegates district

Virginia's 71st House of Delegates district is responsible for electing one of the 100 members of the Virginia House of Delegates, which is the lower house of the state's bicameral legislature.The 71st district is primarily located in the city of Richmond.[1][2]
Currently, the 71st district is represented by Democrat Jeff Bourne, who was elected in a special election held in February, 2017.[3] Prior to Bourne's election, the district had been represented by Democrat Jennifer McClellan since 2006.[4]
