Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to National Front (France) may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 17:42, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

JB[edit]

Hey there. The edit on the French page was not done by me - I have no problem signing my edits.

Did I misunderstand the exchange on your talk-page, or is the Rinko87-sockpuppet confirmed? Otherwise I'll request a checkuser/sockpuppet investigation.

One last thing: How come you reverted the change on the French page regarding the "collaboration with Noam Chomsky"? Do you seriously consider a single interview mostly done by someone else a "collaboration" that deserves mention on a Wikipedia page? Could you please explain why?

Regards, Hybris1984 (talk) 09:35, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Hybris1984!
Thank you for this precision—it might have been you, isn't it?
Eventually, MarceloBielsa (Juan Branco) neither confirmed nor denied Rinko87 was his sockpuppet. You don't speak french, don't you?
I reverted the change concerning JB's collaboration with Chomsky, but also with Badiou, because it is proven by Durand's article. Of course, I didn't consider that a sole interview would have sufficed instead.
— Regards, Pro patria semper 12:45, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Nope. Wasn't me...
If you check the history of the discussion page for the French article, you'll see the confirmation for the sockpuppet. He wrote his long contribution under the alias MarceloBielsa, continued to make some changes and then switched accounts to Rinko87, changing a few more things and writing: "intervention sur ma propre page : pardon pour les modifications multiples, mais parlant en mon nom sur une plateforme publique, je me permets de tenter d'être le plus précis possible..."
As to the Chomsky-thing... Thanks for providing the source, but I'm sorry to say: I remain unconvinced. I do not question that he was part of an interview conducted by his father... (which is all the Inrock...-article says). I do however question that this a) constitutes a collaboration and b) is noteworthy enough for Wikipedia.
Sorry for being so adamant about this, but now that I know Rinko87 is merely a sockpuppet, I am ticked off and rather suspicious. Once a liar... and all that.
Regards, Hybris1984 (talk) 14:09, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, I didn't see this message comment. So Rinko87 is actually a sockpuppet.
I don't know what to say about "the Chomsky-thing"... We could discuss our points of view (with, for example, Daehan, but also others) on the French version talk page?
— Regards, Pro patria semper 14:38, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Sure - we can do that. -- Hybris1984 (talk) 15:25, 15 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox[edit]

Bonjour. Twitter from Wikidata[edit]

I suggest you purge every article where you remove the username parameter from the Twitter template, because an error will show otherwise. You might still catch it at Bruno Covas. More fundamentally, I don't see the need for such edits, on their own, at all. They're borderline disruptive. -- Michael Bednarek (talk)

Done. I don't find it disruptive; eventually, I aimed at clearing out this cat. NAH 13:31, 23 December 2017 (UTC).[reply]

clearing out category:Twitter username not in Wikidata[edit]

Nomen ad hoc, thanks for the explanation, would have known firsthand if it was in the edit summary before I reverted. – Rick (talk) 14:30, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, apologies. NAH 14:42, 23 December 2017 (UTC).[reply]

École normale supérieure[edit]

Hi! I’m stopping by because of your page move here. En.wiki handles disambiguation pages differently than on fr.wiki. The word “disambiguation” in parentheses added to the title means either: 1) the page is a disambiguation page itself (which is not an article, but a navigation guide to get to the right article) OR 2) the page is a redirect to a disambiguation page. No other page should have “(disambiguation)” in its title.

I’ve asked the people at WP: RMT to put things back in order. (And voilà! it’s done.) For a brief intro to disambiguation (dab) pages, see Help:Disambiguation. For the full details, read Wikipedia:Disambiguation and Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Disambiguation pages. If you have any questions, feel free to ask them at Wikipedia:WikiProject Disambiguation.

Happy editing! — Gorthian (talk) 09:35, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your help, Gorthian! Best regards. NAH 12:53, 8 May 2018 (UTC).[reply]
