Mirrors[edit]

Information icon Thanks for contributing to the article Flambards Theme Park. However, one of Wikipedia's core policies is that material must be verifiable and attributed to reliable sources. You have recently used citations which copied, or mirrored, material from Wikipedia. This leads to a circular reference and is not acceptable. Most mirrors are clearly labeled as such, but some are in violation of our license and do not provide the correct attribution. Please help by adding alternate sources to the article you edited! oh thank you, it's strange because wikipedia is where it goes to first and if its independent then I believe I have to select external but thank you so much, I will refrain from adding wiki links. i apologise I'm a bit confused as I see you are talking about bell boy jacket and lord Anthony, I didn't cite Wikipedia here, I cited it from sources that read exactly the same as the editors content. Me again. Apologies for the multiple messages but I think I finally get it..... the pages I have referenced may have taken the info from a wiki page, is that correct? How can you tell? Its ok, I do not expect you to respond unless I literally haven't got it... So in future I will not cite/ reference pages from an encyclopaedia as it's very likely that they have stolen the info from wiki hence the info being exactly the same. It was not an attack, I merely offered suggestions, asked questions on an editor I found suspicous. What about the attacks on my disabilities, me being accused of being someone else, questioning my faith? I've offered to prove all of this but I just get met with aggression and threats. Whatever happened to freedom of speech? I did a lot of work investigating the editor and felt justified in my findings. Given all the articles you have contributed to in your time on Wikipedia, why do you care so much about this one? You said here that you just "came across the article when trying to find something to edit", but it really seems like you have a vested interest in getting this information removed against consensus. You should remove your arbitration request[edit]

As someone with a neurological disability I am sympathetic here, but to be frank you don't have a leg to stand on and you are embarrassing yourself. Feel free to read my comment in the request if you'd like more detail. In all earnestness, you should withdraw that request yourself ASAP. Many people will look at that, and it doesn't look good. Arbitration request removed: Too early for arbitration.[edit]

In response to your request for arbitration, the Arbitration Committee has agreed that arbitration is not required at this stage. Arbitration on Wikipedia is a lengthy, complicated process that involves the unilateral adjudication of a dispute by an elected committee. Although the Committee's decisions can be useful to certain disputes, in many cases the actual process of arbitration is unenjoyable and time-consuming. Moreover, for most disputes the community maintains an effective set of mechanisms for reaching a compromise or resolving a grievance.

For grievances about the conduct of a Wikipedia editor, you should approach the user (in a civil, professional way) on their user talk page. However, other mechanisms for resolving a dispute also exist, such as raising the issue at the administrators' noticeboard for incidents.

In all cases, you should review Wikipedia:Dispute resolution to learn more about resolving disputes on Wikipedia. The English Wikipedia community has many venues for resolving disputes and grievances, and it is important to explore them instead of requesting arbitration in the first instance. No worries. As the request has been removed and can only be accessed through the page's history (here), there is nothing left to be withdrawn; the case request page is empty.
You're certainly not going to be banned for seeking arbitration; anyone may ask for it. The Arbitration Committee didn't see a need to intervene, but it's okay to have asked for their assistance.
A more welcoming place for general advice is probably the Teahouse, in case you're wondering about policies or guidelines or need help improving an article. This requires you to be open to the advice you receive there, though, and to be as understanding as possible if their explanations are the opposite of what you had been sure about. If you enter such community areas and ask for advice, you can probably learn a lot if you genuinely from the bottom of your heart desire to actually do so.
I'm writing this because if I understand correctly, others have voiced concerns about issues that may be described by the "Failure or refusal to get the point" section of the guideline against disruptive editing. If this is the case, please consider disengaging from the conflict: Wikipedia is a volunteer project that does not require you to give any more time and effort than you wish. When you find yourself in a toxic situation, no matter how you got there and who is to blame, one possible exit is always to have a look at the Task Center or the community portal and find something completely unrelated that may be more interesting and less frustrating.
