Are you actively working on the articles you've created? Please would you add references as soon as possible to demonstrate notability. Deb (talk) 18:26, 5 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Ways to improve Celia Amorós[edit]

Hi, I'm Crystallizedcarbon. Bullet97, thanks for creating Celia Amorós!

I've just tagged the page, using our page curation tools, as having some issues to fix. Please add references from independent reliable sources to the article to meet our verifiability and notablility requirements.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, you can leave a comment on my talk page. Or, for more editing help, talk to the volunteers at the Teahouse. Crystallizedcarbon (talk) 15:26, 9 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

our project[edit]

Thank you for you offer. I now have native Spanish-speaking teachers here to help with reviewing articles but I would love to have you as a resource for unusual questions and issues that occasionally arise. One kind that pops up is about what makes a topic "encyclopedic." I realize criteria for inclusion is different in eswiki and enwiki, but answering yes or no for a particular article idea is not always easy. Hopefully, I will get unblocked soon and we can communicate in Spanish Wikipedia. Again thank you!Thelmadatter (talk) 19:27, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Edit war warning[edit]

Stop icon

Your recent editing history at Calvin Cheng shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. Discretionary sanctions[edit]

This message contains important information about an administrative situation on Wikipedia. It does not imply any misconduct regarding your own contributions to date.

Please carefully read this information:

The Arbitration Committee has authorised discretionary sanctions to be used for pages regarding living or recently deceased people, and edits relating to the subject (living or recently deceased) of such biographical articles, a topic which you have edited. The Committee's decision is here.

Discretionary sanctions is a system of conduct regulation designed to minimize disruption to controversial topics. This means uninvolved administrators can impose sanctions for edits relating to the topic that do not adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, our standards of behavior, or relevant policies. Administrators may impose sanctions such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks. This message is to notify you that sanctions are authorised for the topic you are editing. Before continuing to edit this topic, please familiarise yourself with the discretionary sanctions system. Don't hesitate to contact me or another editor if you have any questions.

Clue[edit]

About this. The subject of that article has been shamelessly trying to turn that page into a promotional piece of garbage for over ten years and succeeded for much of that time. You show up out of no where and make exactly the same argument and edits as apparent representatives of the subject , and edit war to keep it, again exactly like apparent representatives of the subject of the article. It surprises you that this was received negatively?

And in the future don't abuse article talk pages with "advice" to other editors. That is what pages like this are for. Please review WP:TPG. Jytdog (talk) 19:21, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Please correct me if I am wrong, but it looks like you are using the possibility of discretionary sanctions as an excuse to impose your point of view. I'm still waiting for a valid reason as to why you often throw baseless accusations in the first place, instead of debating with other users. It has never been my intention to start an edit war, and I sincerely apologize if you got the impression that I wanted to, but please try not to be too trigger-happy with user warning templates. If used at the wrong time, they do nothing but hamper mutual understanding.--Raymond Gelow (talk) 19:36, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You are wrong. The DS are the DS and the notification is obligatory if they are to come into play; users must be made aware of them. Jytdog (talk) 19:42, 17 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • I do want to ask... you rarely edit en-WP and you have no particular focus on Singapore, fashion, or ed tech. Would you please explain what led you to this particular article? Thanks. Jytdog (talk) 15:50, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I would like to apologize for being too quick to misintrepret the DS warning template you left me as a sign of bad faith; I am not accustomed to editing Wikipedia in English. Indeed, I'm not even a native English speaker, hence the reason why most of my edits are in Wikipedia in Spanish. Regarding your question, I'm afraid I can't answer it, due to legal reasons that I'm not allowed to disclose.--Raymond Gelow (talk) 17:04, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I am guessing that you came in response to an OTRS ticket. You can actually say that; you just cannot say anything about the ticket. OTRS agents can sometimes make the mistake of starting to act as an advocate for the person who filed the ticket, and that is something that OTRS agents need to be very, very careful to avoid. Jytdog (talk) 17:17, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
User:Jytdog: You just answered your own question. I would also like to thank you for the info. However, I beg you not to ask me to go into details, as I'm not allowed to do that.--Raymond Gelow (talk) 17:27, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for confirming; of course I will not ask about the details. best regards Jytdog (talk) 17:31, 18 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
