Edit warring on Anzac Day[edit]

G'day, Please respect WP:BRD on the subject article. Your source does not say that ANZAC is the official rendering of the word. The Commonwealth legislation protects the word 'Anzac', three states use 'ANZAC'. We should probably have a section which covers this issue, but please stop edit-warring, you will only get yourself blocked. Regards, Peacemaker67 (talk) 02:29, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

common usage seems to be to only use ANZAC when referring to the actual army corps, but Anzac when it is used in derivative forms. A search of.gov.au websites shows that there is no absolute rule. The forward to http://www.anzaccentenary.gov.au/subs/2010/reports/anzac_centenary_report.doc explains that the titlecase version has been in use for many years.
