Unblock requests

{{unblock revised | May I be unblocked? I feel I have calmed down enough to carry on, after what DonLammers I will continue to do lists and a little info out on each exhibit like the Columbus Zoos. If you don't like it too bad bad, its his fault for putting me in this position. -Zhand38

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for abuse of editing privileges. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{tlx|unblock|3=reason=Because I contributed and people are making me look bad, that's my only reason. I basically said, "Can I be nice by not commenting bad things", response, "No Zhand38 your an idiot, you have to keep commenting or you will have chance of getting unblocked".]] 04:42, 6 September 2011
This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who declined the request. Other administrators may also review this block, but should not override the decision without good reason (see the blocking policy).

Request reason:

Pkease I'm sorry for whatever I did I need this article, it seriously keeps me comforted, I did nothing wrong I was trying to help

Decline reason:

WP:NOTTHERAPY. Unfortunately, your interactions are not comforting to others. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 13:38, 6 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

where we stand, 14 September 2011

And now you have (very clumsily) tried to spoof a mean admin response to a third unblock request. As you did with your sockpuppet User:Okapi2196 (see Wikipedia:Sockpuppet_investigations/Zhand38/Archive), you have tried wantonly to mislead editors and readers here into thinking you have been dealt with unfairly and "victimized." You even said in the bit before your fake admin post (linked above), "people are making me look bad." However, the only outcome is that you have lost any trust you had left on this website.

You have been blocked indefinitely for disruption, sockpuppetry while blocked and trying to impersonate an admin in an unblock request template. Owing to the latter, I have locked you out of this talk page.

In light of this, you have not made others "feel good," so your talk about "feeling good" and reminders that you have said "thank you" to editors is more or less meaningless. Editors have spent lots of time trying to help you, but you've shown no understanding or even acknowledgement that there are rules to follow here (it's not that hard), let alone any willingness to abide by them.

What can you do now? Please stay away from the English Wikipedia for at least a month. After that, if you want, you may email any admin and ask that this talk page be unlocked, but only so that you can use this talk page to straightforwardly discuss the reasons for your block and how you plan to abide by the policies of this website. I have left your Wikipedia email enabled. However, if you abuse that in any way, it will be locked, too. If this happens, about the only way open to you will be sending an email to arbcom.

Now, an indefinite block does not mean "forever." Truth be told, you could easily have gotten yourself unblocked many days ago, so this is all your own doing. I would hope that you will learn from what has happened here.

So, for now, you are still only blocked. In the meantime, please do not open any new user accounts. If you are caught running sockpuppets again, you will be banned from this website (see WP:BAN) and if that happens, it could take you a year or more to be unblocked. Gwen Gale (talk) 19:21, 14 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I've blocked your latest account, User:Lamiller614. Gwen Gale (talk) 07:27, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Sockpuppetry

Zhand38, it seems you don't understand some of the rules around here, so I'll try one more time to make things perfectly clear. You are blocked. Period. Until you understand why you were blocked and can explain to an admin that you understand what you did wrong, and you will never do it again, you will stay blocked.

Whether your edits come from you or your mother, or a friend or family member, or anyone else, they are not welcome on Wikipedia. You are blocked. Until you learn how to get along here, your edits will be reverted on sight no matter where they come from.

You were adamant you hadn't socked before with a certain account, although you clearly socked with others. Your most recent account (blocked indef by Gwen Gale) is clearly sockpuppetry again. You have gone from being an editor who could actually contribute to Wikipedia and make our zoo articles (in particular) better, to now being purely disruptive. The next step is a permanent community ban, in which case you will never be welcome on Wikipedia again in any way, shape, or form. Dayewalker (talk) 17:09, 21 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop using your IP

Zhand38, please stop using your IP 74.83.218.178 (talk · contribs) to make edits to Wikipedia, they will be reverted, regardless of content. You are indefinitely blocked, as explained in great detail above. If you want to post an unblock request here, log in to your account and post it. Otherwise, don't post here. At this point, this page is to be used only for you to request an unblock, not for you to pretend to write articles. Dayewalker (talk) 01:05, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Correcting myself above, as I see your page is already locked from you editing it. Gwen Gale explained above that you should email an admin if you want to request an unblock, I strongly suggest you do that. You can just go to an admin's talk page and click on the "Email this user" link to do that. Dayewalker (talk) 01:09, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(answering questions) You were blocked for the reasons listed above in your block notices, Gwen Gale's comment "You have been blocked indefinitely for disruption, sockpuppetry while blocked and trying to impersonate an admin in an unblock request template" is a good place to start. I'd suggest emailing Gwen Gale, since she is familiar with your case. If you'd like to try another, the full list is at WP:LA. Dayewalker (talk) 01:34, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Just to be clear, Gwen Gale's talk page is here. Don't post on a talk page that says "Archive," because no one will ever read that, it's archived. Dayewalker (talk) 02:00, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Go to her talk page. Look on the left side of the page, about halfway down. Click the link. Dayewalker (talk) 02:13, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You would need to log on to this, your blocked account, User:Zhand38, to see the email link. However, going by what I've seen here, it's unlikely I (or any other admin) would be willing to unblock you yet. Wait three months or so. Six would get you into asking for an unblock through WP:OFFER. Gwen Gale (talk) 02:21, 25 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

December

Given this edit, along with the disruption you stirred up lately over at Meta and Commons, the clock for the standard offer is reset to six months from today. As you've been told more than a few times, you must stay away from Wikipedia (along with Meta and Commons), for six months. This means no edits of any kind, either from IPs or from sockpuppet accounts. If you come back before 4 May 2012, the next step will most likely be a community ban for one year. You can appeal this through Wikipedia:Arbitration_Committee#Ban_Appeals_Subcommittee. Gwen Gale (talk) 01:36, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've unlocked this talk page, only so you can ask questions about your block (and talk about your behaviour) here. If you try to use it for anything else, such as drafts of zoo articles or threats of any kind, it will be swiftly locked again. Gwen Gale (talk) 01:42, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
That won't help, Gwen: he's globally locked and has just emailed me to say that he can't edit any page anywhere. The Cavalry (Message me) 03:54, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for letting me know. If it's global, he can only email arbcom off-wiki then but I think he should wait at least three months, without socking or IP edits, before doing that (here's a link to what I said to him about all this a few weeks back). Gwen Gale (talk) 04:34, 5 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The editor has continued to evade the block, via 208.102.209.78, down to 30 January 2012. JamesBWatson (talk) 11:24, 1 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
