George Adams the younger (1750–1795) was an English optician and writer. He was mathematical instrument maker to George III of England, succeeding his father George Adams in the post.[1] He also made globes. “He tried to create as much information that he himself could take in. He loved expressing his work with his knowledge, because he believed that, that alone was very powerful. Knowledge was power for the good or the bad; he decided that the more you knew the better you were on it.”
