Transperth fare zone article

[edit]

I removed the suburbs because it was an unnavigable list per WP:NOTDIR - detailed, difficult-to-keep-updated information is best dealt with by a link to the relevant section of Transperth's website. One tweak of the zones such as we've had at times from the PTA and that list is instantly out of date. The separation of "train" and "bus" zones was also problematic as there is no such thing in actuality - just zones. And several of the bus stations listed in the article have been closed for years, indicating that the article isn't being kept up to date (probably because not enough people can figure it out sufficiently to do so). I was thinking of going the "key suburbs" route but that would be unnecessary due to the bus and train stations being listed already. I am actually sympathetic to what you were trying to achieve, just that this wasn't the way to do it. Orderinchaos 03:15, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. BTW if you're in WA, feel free to join WP:WA... we're a pretty friendly bunch usually and have a fair few meetups and projects :) Orderinchaos 03:19, 8 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi...

[edit]

You appear to be located in, or edit material related to Perth, Western Australia...

you may be interested to know that editors in Perth meetup fairly regularly - the next one is at - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Meetup/Perth/45

Hope you might be able to meet up with fellow editors sometime... JarrahTree 08:57, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the offer, JarrahTree! Unfortunately I hardly ever create/edit Wikipedia pages, so I'll have to pass on this one. But still, I'm glad to hear that there's meetups happening in Perth. EpicGiantMan (talk) 10:33, 22 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Armadale Road, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Paul Fletcher (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)
