My user talk:

Prime Minister of Italy, et al[edit]

Hi Leo! Welcome to the English Wikipedia. I gather than you mostly hang out at German Wikipedia?

Each language's WP has, to some extent, its own policies and guidelines, and it would be good for you to familiarize yourself a little with ours. Specifically please take a look at WP:ENGLISH and WP:COMMONNAME, which are relevant to your recent edits regarding the Italian and Polish prime ministers. I am not particularly familiar with the Polish article, but the article on the Italian prime minister has been through this issue a number of times.

Thanks, and I hope you enjoy editing here! --Trovatore (talk) 21:46, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

June 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved, as you did to Prime Minister of Poland, without good reason. They need to have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. We have some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The article Steffen Seibert has been proposed for deletion because under Wikipedia policy, all biographies of living persons created after March 18, 2010, must have at least one source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't take offense. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners or ask at Wikipedia:Help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one.
