Ref anchor

[edit]

Hi there. I did one for you. Here's a quick how-to.

Name the reference something meaningful. I usually name it after its author. For Korade, Zeljka. "Lipid rafts, cholesterol, and the brain." Neuropharmacology 55 (2008): 1265-273

I used <ref name="korade">, which will appear before the first instance of the reference in place of the <ref> tag. Every time you use the korade reference following this one, it should appear as <ref name="korade"/>, so there's no need to type out the entire reference multiple times.

If this is not clear, let me know and I will assist you. --Moni3 (talk) 13:42, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Logging off: The edits that appear as an anon IP are ok. That happens when you have a window open for a period of time and forget to refresh the page. I have done this when I make a lot of edits at once, taking half an hour or so to save the page. Let Dr. Fanucci know the edits made from an anon IP to the article are you, made when you were logged out. I've seen anon IPs edit a few of the Biomembranes articles this morning. --Moni3 (talk) 15:58, 27 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
