Hello I'm Edo, I currently active at the many-worlds interpretation.

I'm currently blocked for a week. This is I believe because of a misunderstanding, and clumsiness of me (see the reasons below). So it is in a sense my fault.

I want to say to machine-elf, and michael price, they can still react on my comments, and I will react after a week (or if my account is unblocked sooner, earlier). Best regards, Edo

October 2010[edit]

This is your last warning. The next time you make personal attacks on other people, as you did at Talk:Many-worlds interpretation, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on fellow editors. Machine Elf 1735 02:26, 21 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 1 week for abusing multiple accounts. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Defamatory[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your recent edits to Max Tegmark have been reverted as they could be seen to be defamatory or potentially libellous. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you.

Just a question, I am currently awarding the MAX-TEGMARK Award, An award that's been given to the scientist that contributed the most to the suicide ratings, bad poetry and false arguments,
can this award be mentioned on the wikipedia site?

You posted this using your IP account 213.10.212.48.—Machine Elf 1735 17:59, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

my account willem pramschot is blocked because of abuse of multiple accounts, that's a bit strange because I only got one account, I also 'have' an account Eqb1987 but I forgot about that, I cannot log-in because I don't know the password anymore (edited later) I posted some unsigned comments (accidentily) but I believe they are all signed now. Best regards, Edo Blaauw (I also made a joke about Tegmark, that is now clearly mine (I think 'Machine Elf' did this, thanks, I don't have a problem with that), can be deleted, and I think isn't really in bad taste considering Tegmark's articles about quantum suicide) But yes, there currently is no award (though I may want to make this award sometimes (a bit in the lines of the Darwin Awards). But probably not. I will promise to not make jokes again on wikipedia). I can wait a week that's not the problem, but I think the block isn't really called for Willempramschot (talk) 18:29, 27 October 2011 (UTC) Willempramschot (talk) 18:38, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Why did you create this account, having edited as Eqb1987 and denied the existence of this earlier account? --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 20:37, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Oh yeah you're right, I honestly forgot about that account. I lost the password, so I don't use it anymore. I'm honest. And you will see that I haven't used Eqb1987 after I used Willem Pramschot. I didn't tried to abuse many accounts. And to make it perfectly clear I'm Edo. Willem Pramschot is just my account name, because that was the first thing that came to mind.

For the reviewing admin, the other account is Eqb1987 (talk · contribs), plus several instances of logged out editing (which Willem mentions above). TNXMan 19:39, 27 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I'm sorry I honestly forgot I already had an account. I made a new one because I forgot the password, or maybe used the wrong username. It was not my intention to abuse my accounts.
I see that the 'discussion' between me and machineelf is being deleted. I have no problem with that. I just wanted to say I now know pretty sure what impunity is. 'Machinelf said I was offending to people with impunity.
It means, that you cannot be punished if you did something wrong. I think it's relevant because it reveals something of the 'dictatorial' reasoning by the user that wanted me blocked. I actually think it's revolting but I leave that for you to judge.
I will admit that I sometimes didn't sign my posts, but that's because I didn't had a really clear understanding how wikipedia worked

Decline reason:

If you honestly forgot over the course of a few days that you had a Wikipedia account, then I suggest that you leave your computer immediately and see a neurologist. Danger High voltage! 21:28, 1 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, I reverted it all (with no prodding from anyone else) because it has no bearing on whether or not you'll be unblocked and because it can, by and large, be discussed when your block has expired. The edits remain in the page history. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 19:07, 30 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Ok thank you (I didn't thought there was any prodding, no worries) the best Edo

Jéské Couriano, I think the state of his talk page spoke for itself. Anyone who read his screeds from yesterday or earlier today, would see the contradictions in his unblock request. One thing you won't find in that mass, are any diffs to back up his accusations against me. I want him to leave me alone. He's carrying on a malicious and unprovoked campaign of personal attacks against two editors. I'm sure I'll be back at AN/I soon enough, because no one said anything to him about the ongoing personal attacks, (2 against his other vic are self-evident in his prior account).
To the reviewing admin: Prior to his block, there was no response at AN/I, so I thanked him for demonstrating that indeed he can personally attack two editors with apparent impunity. That is the so-called “'dictatorial' reasoning” he finds “revolting”.—Machine Elf 1735 01:21, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding the 27 unsigned edits below. I have no doubt he understands perfectly well, that he is the one with apparent impunity. I had provided the diff wherein Michael Price kindly explained for him: “in this context it means attacking without fear or regard of the consequences”. My attempts to respond in detail to his multiplying accusations were obviously a waste of time—no one wants to read all that. Please note how he exploits the opportunity to contradict his archived response—he couldn't be bothered to read it either.
Wikipedia 'dictates' policy, (WP:NPA) but no particular admin should be expected to enforce it; we're all just volunteers. I hope eventually someone will… in the meantime, he's calling the bluff: there's no question he's violating the policy, and he has no diffs to support his numerous rationals for targeting us. The lack of response has already made him bolder, and I fear that brushing this aside, presumably for WP:TLDR, might encourage such prolific violations.
I encourage him to demonstrate my lack of good faith by ignoring me, but false accusations of personal attacks, are themselves personal attacks. I pointed out his unrealistic expectations of other editors: that they excuse his (selective) technical difficulties and (selectively) fluent language skills; that they excuse the tendentious refusal to correct his misunderstandings regardless of attempts to explain; and that the burden is on them to “write clearly”, rather than on him to use a dictionary. There's no need for him to frequently remind editors that he lacks fluency, and it dismisses none of their objections. Later, he apparently noticed that I would never want to slight him for any genuine lack of skill… fodder for a shameless character assassination. I'll believe he intends to ignore me as soon as he proves it.—Machine Elf 1735 14:14, 31 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I said delete it, if you think it's not aloud to defend myself, delete it. Not delete the comments, the account.

  1. For attribution purposes and technical reasons we cannot delete accounts.
  2. Your "defense" should be limited to the immediate unblock on your account, not accusing others of wrongdoing. That's why I keep removing your massive posts, which are little more than verbose accusations that everyone, except yourself, is in the wrong, nevermind the fact the reason you're blocked is for creating and using sockpuppets, which nobody can really sucker you into. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 19:39, 2 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
