Greetings[edit]

Greetings, Wikisebseb. I was just wondering, are using a bot or some type of script to create all those new articles? I was just wondering as some concerns have been raised on the administrator's noticeboard: Wikipedia:Administrators'_noticeboard/Incidents#Suspected_bot. You would be most welcome to come and discuss if you like. Thanks, Sarah 11:32, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then by all means, if you're not a bot, please do continue the good work you've been doing on the Romanian communes! It would be a shame to lose you. Biruitorul Talk 19:08, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks I'll try to contribute increasingly ;) wikisebseb Talk 22:46, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speaking of scripts...[edit]

A little hint - you can save yourself some time by, instead of writing '''[commune name]''' in each article, writing '''{{subst:PAGENAME}}''' - it'll make it go by a little faster.

Welcome to Wikipedia, and happy editing! --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 20:59, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry - wrote it wrong. Fixed it for you. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 21:01, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you very much ! I was thinking of that kind of script to go faster but i didn't know this, thanks ! --User:Wikisebseb

You're most welcome. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 21:04, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for all, but the little problem with the script is when the title of the article is : (commune), (county)

More than 1 article on 2 have this kind of title cause there's already an article with the name of the commune :s I can still use it on the others...

That used to catch me, too, when I was using it on French communes. It's not perfect, but it saves a lot of effort, nonetheless. --User:AlbertHerring Io son l'orecchio e tu la bocca: parla! 21:16, 20 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of William Halsall, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.grandmas-attic.com/william_halsall.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Wikisebseb! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 937 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Toba metz - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 19:29, 16 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Toba metz requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ϢereSpielChequers 20:03, 4 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
