September 2020[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Khruner. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Joseph (Genesis), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Khruner (talk) 15:12, 7 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Benjamin Aidoo, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Extinct language, you may be blocked from editing. Roller26 (talk) 14:39, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Stop icon You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you insert a spam link, as you did at Benjamin Aidoo. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. Roller26 (talk) 14:40, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Duplication of category information[edit]

Please don't add an article to a category if it already belongs to a sub-category, which provides the same information and more. For example, if an article is in a category such as Category:21st-century classical pianists or Category:Women classical pianists then it is not necessary to add it to Category:Classical pianists. The category the article is already in indicates that it is in the larger category. JBW (talk) 21:59, 8 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
