I reverted your edit to this article. Changing the nationality is probably best done AFTER a discussion on the talk page. I understand your reasoning, but it's still best to get some buy-in from other editors. Joyous! Noise! 01:10, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Eritrea was a part of Ethiopia when the subject was born (1986). The government was known as the "Derg" and controlled modern day Ethiopia and Eritrea from 1974 to 1987. Wikieditor969 (talk) 02:59, 16 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
With all do respect... we were colonized... we fought for our independence and we are and were alway Eritrea. Please stop editing pages that haven't requested your input. It gets used as propaganda to illegitimize the performers ethnic heritage. You cannot apply western standards to border disputes using pedantic measures. Respectfully. May 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Peaceray. I noticed that you recently removed content from Meb Keflezighi without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Why did you remove cited material, and without explanation? Please read the WP:VNT essay. Peaceray (talk) 22:41, 17 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your addition of an unsourced date of birth to Ella Thomas. In addition to Wikipedia's basic principle of citing sources (Wikipedia:Citing sources), a special need for citations applies with regard to elements of a biography of a living person (WP:BLPPRIVACY). Feel free to add a date of birth when it is accompanied by a citation to a reliable, published, non-primary source. Eddie Blick (talk) 00:44, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Ella Thomas edit cited to Fandom[edit]

I have reverted your addition of content to Ella Thomas that was cited to arrow.fandom.com. I appreciate your effort to cite a source, but Fandom sites are "considered generally unreliable" for use in Wikipedia articles. Please see WP:FANDOM for some comments about that status.
