Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the username you have chosen (Webdesignbb) seems to imply that you are editing on behalf of a group, company or website.

There are two issues with this:

  1. It is possible that you have a conflict of interest. In keeping with Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy, you must exercise great caution when editing on topics related to your organization.

A tag has been placed on Adobe on Green Street requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a clear copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

As in Fred Pierce, president of BnB Websites, designer of the websites for two of the B&Bs you created articles for, and whose website bnbwebsites.com announces "Watch live as we take you step-by-step how to submit your inn to Wikipedia."? I suggest removing that unless your clients want to find their websites blacklisted from Wikipedia. I was unaware that my username of websitesbb was violating any wikipedia rules. I apologize for that. I would like to change my username to fredp2010 but my IP is blocked as well and I can't do anything. Please allow me to change my username.

I personally visit a lot of bed and breakfasts and I like putting the history of the inn on wikipedia. I feel that this isn't violating any rule on wikipedia. All I do is put the history of the building and maybe surrounding areas.

If I can't get the username changed, then can you please unblock the IP so other users are not blocked from wikipedia?

  • Do you realize that you are exploiting Wikipedia for financial gain? Or that you are hindering the existence of any bed and breakfast organizations being presented in the future? Wikipedia cannot be used for promotional purposes, and this is essentially why you are editing here. There is often semantic confusion over the definition of unambiguous publicity, promotion, and advertising. One of the ways to better understand the criteria pertaining to appropriate inclusion on Wikipedia is to determine if the article has been written or edited in an attempt to manage the public's perception of the subject of the article. Mere publicity, promotion, and advertising need not reference sales or reviews pertaining to the quality or feasibility of the subject of the article. Simply announcing the existence of a subject prior to notability would be considered promotional and inappropriate.

    The articles that you have created have not presented or indicated significance or importance. Wikipedia requires notability, presented through significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject. Wikipedia cannot accept articles based on original research, or information that has not been published elsewhere. Articles must be based on reliable secondary and third-party sources before inclusion on Wikipedia can be accepted. Your time on Wikipedia would be greatly enhanced if you would read, review, and come to an understanding of the policies and guidelines linked at the top of your talk page. Essentially, what you are attempting to do here is ask people to pay you to jump off the high dive, before you have learned to tread water. Hope this helps.
