Welcome!

Hello, Waterwise, and welcome to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia that anyone can edit! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

In addition, you are encouraged (but not required) to cite your sources. Wikipedia:Citation templates has some useful fill-in-the-blank type things that may make that easier, but feel free not to use them if you find them confusing.

You may want to look at some of Wikipedia's best work to get an idea of what we are aiming at.

You are invited to use your userpage to tell us a little about yourself; yours is here.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on this page (which is your talk page) and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. You also might be interested in being adopted by Wikipedia's Adopt-a-user program. Again, welcome!

I've redirected your article to the existing water conservation, which can be expanded, with less conflict of interest. --Steve (Stephen) talk 09:16, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --Fredrick day 10:07, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have added a "{{prod}}" template to the article Embedded water, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but I don't believe it satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and I've explained why in the deletion notice (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Pan Dan 10:07, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have also proposed Waterwise for deletion. I appreciate your contributions, but you should not write about people or organizations that are close to you. Since you are interested in water consumption and conservation, may I suggest you add to our existing articles in those areas, but please avoid mentioning Waterwise or linking to its website. Please, always cite reliable sources and maintain a neutral point of view. Thank you. Pan Dan 10:23, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a conflict of interest, you should avoid or exercise great caution when:

  1. editing articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with,
  2. participating in deletion discussions about articles related to your organization or its competitors,
  3. linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam);
    and you must always:
  4. avoid breaching relevant policies and guidelines, especially neutral point of view, verifiability, and autobiography.

For more details, please read the Conflict of Interest guideline. Thank you. --Dirk Beetstra T C 15:41, 16 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your uploads. You've indicated that the following images are being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why they meet Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page an image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --03:49, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading File:Waterwise Logo.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:23, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
