Disambiguation[edit]

hey, I noticed you added a link on an article. Sadly however, it was a disambiguation link so I had to remove it. Gaismagorm (talk) 16:45, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks - which link was that (I have been doing a few edits this afternoon). What is a disambiguation link? WalterCharlie1989 (talk) 16:51, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The link was the one for charles williams on the royal wattercolor society page. A disambiguation page is a page that contains links to many pages under the same or similar name. see Wikipedia:Disambiguation for more info. Gaismagorm (talk) 17:01, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! So I would need to put [[Charles Williams (artist)|Charles Williams]]
Is that right? I see he has a link lower down as a President of the Society. WalterCharlie1989 (talk) 17:20, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
if theres a link on the watercolor page, then there actually doesn't need to be another one Gaismagorm (talk) 17:28, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
