Hi there. In order to properly reference an article on Wikipedia, you need to incorporate the references into the article, and not in the edit description. WP:CITE will give you some of the info you need here. Also, be mindful that Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously, and you cannot simply cut-and-paste copyrighted news articles to make a page here. Remember, we use references as a source of information, but not sentences. Also, I was having trouble finding any mention of this person in the Daily News article you offered, given the spelling of the article. Does this article require a name change?
