March 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm ScottishFinnishRadish. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Talk:Gay pornography, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Feel free to try again without directly attacking a living person. You need much better sources than you offered to make those claims about a living person. a ScottishFinnishRadish (talk) 10:46, 26 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have included four sources to a widely known and available to find topic, which is why I included four major news outlets. Two had positive outake of said living person and two were against him, but they all regarded the issue of his prejudice as indisputable, because that was never a source of debate.
I believe I have included reliable sources, and I also believe I didn't attack him. I have stated the person was notoriously bigoted and supported the disenfranchisement and apartheid of a certain race. That's well documented. It's even documented on his Wikipedia page. Stating someone's wrongdoings is not an attack, and definitely wasn't meant to be.

Two pieces of commentary are not nearly enough to hinge statements like a man who is known racist and bigot* and built his studio on being pro-apartheid on. The actual news pieces make no claims of racism, bigotry or "building his studio on being pro-apartheid." WP:BLP applies everywhere on Wikipedia.
