Speedy deletion nomination of Midnight Anythings[edit]

Midnight Anythings[edit]

Hi there. I am a Christian Wikipedian and occasional new page patroller. I noticed you created an article about Midnight Anythings, a band. While I did not nominate it for deletion (someone else did), I do see why they did it. Articles about bands, groups, and solo musicians (as well as songwriters, composers, etc.) have to meet certain criteria. You can find that criteria by clicking here, or by typing WP:BAND into the search box. An article about a music act only has to meet one of 12 criteria. However, Midnight Anythings met none. If you were developing that article (a.k.a. it wasn't finished), something to consider next time is:

1. Put {{Increation}} at the very top of the page. If the necessary editing to finish the article will take minutes or hours, this will alert other users not to delete the article until the tag is removed.

2. Develop the article in a user subpage. If the necessary editing to finish the article will take days or weeks, this will virtually prevent deletion entirely. What I mean by a user subpage is, basically, it's an article incubator.

For example, there's this band I like called Wolves at the Gate. If they were to have an article, it would be called Wolves at the Gate (band). You'll notice that that article doesn't exist because it's being developed by me at User:Djc wi/Wolves at the Gate (band). To create a subpage to develop an article, simply type in your username followed by a slash, and then what the name of the article will be. Of course, make sure that name isn't taken first by something else - Wolves at the Gate is taken, so my article has to be called Wolves at the Gate (band).

When you're done with the subpage, you can move it to an article space. If you need help with that, you can contact me or Walter Görlitz, another Christian Wikipedian. One of us will review the article and make sure it meets the criteria. Don't move it until it meets criteria or it will most likely get deleted.
