Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did in Middleware. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that exist to attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Hi Ulrich,

You ask me why I deleted your January 21st contributions. Please take a careful look at them.

You made a 20 minutes rampage of editions, in which you added links to the same web site to 5 different pages, plus a reference to a work authored by yourself. These editions are your only contribution ever to Wikipedia.

Did you consider that Wikipedia is not a place for self promotion? What is to stop anyone from thinking that you created an account with the sole purpose of inserting these links? While anyone is prone to think that the jobs of oneself are great, Wikipedia's policy prefers linking sources considered relevant by third persons. Please read the Wikipedia policy on how not to be a spammer, and rethink of how correct your editions and my reversions were.

Anyway, you are gladly welcome to make further corrections, additions and any improvement you see fit in the Wikipedia, and you could regard my reversions as incorrect as I regarded your editions. If you think an article misses relevant links, and some dimwit (as myself), reverts your additions, please comment the subject in the talk page of the given article, and ask people for their opinion. — Isilanes 12:37, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
