Major / Minor writers[edit]

I see you've been inserting the words "minor" or "major" in a number of articles on writers. In most cases this could be seen as contravening Wikipedia's policy on neutral point of view. In general it is much better to let the facts speak for themselves ... if a writer has received awards, then let's make that clear. Well-cited critical opinion of writers is also a perfectly valid way to clarify their contribution to literature. I'm glad to see another editor interested in literature. There is much work to be done on literary articles. You might be interested in looking at the Literature Portal. Stumps 12:26, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Civility[edit]

I've read your recent comments on Talk:Karen Connelly ... please take time to read Wikipedia:Etiquette ... in particular it is important that we editors are civil and that we assume good faith in other editors. Stumps 12:34, 21 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]
