A tag has been placed on Nozio requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. AfD nomination of Nozio[edit]
I have nominated Nozio, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Nozio. Hello Rwiggum Can you explain why my page for nozio was deleted when a similar page exists that has hardly any content or references and in my mind is clearly an advertisement for the company? for example: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hotels.com Travelbrit (talk) 16:34, 13 April 2009 (UTC)

Nozio[edit]
The article was deleted through an articles for deletion. The article was clearly tagged with a notice that contained a link to the discussion where you could have defended it, but you did not. Also, please see WP:OTHERSTUFF. The gist of it is that just because other articles exist with the same lack of notability does not lend credence to the first article (in this case, Nozio). Those articles are held to the same standards as any other, and the fact of the matter is that some manage to slip through the cracks. But that is not a reasonable defense of another article. That is why, because you pointed it out to me, I nominated Hotels.com for speedy deletion. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Rwiggum (Talk/Contrib) 22:28, 14 April 2009 (UTC)
Not a good start for me, I'm new here and did try to defend it by following what other admins said (like adding references & more background info) being a newbie has put me at a disadvantage. I wasn't trying to defend my article, but trying to work out why another article with less quality info was not cancelled, all I want is fair treatment, anyway thanks for the feedback Travelbrit (talk) 22:42, 20 April 2009 (UTC)
