Thank you for your work on Stomping grounds. Not all topics are notable (suitable for a stand-alone Wikipedia article). The Stomping grounds article does not cite sources establishing notability, so it may get deleted. A source shows that the article topic is notable when it:

• contains significant coverage: it addresses the topic directly and in multiple paragraphs of detail. A source with only trivial or off-topic mentions of the subject doesn't count.
• is a reliable source: it has a reliable publication process, or a suitable expert author (look up the reliability of common sources, or discuss). Newspapers and books usually meet this criteria, company and personal websites usually do not.
• is independent of the subject: it isn't produced by the article's subject or someone similarly affiliated with it. For example, these are not independent: the subject's press releases, autobiographies, website, and interviews.

Hi I don't understand I cited 13 different sources including the Associated Press, Yahoo Finance News, Boating Industry Magazine, Outdoor Sportswire, boats.com, and the MRAA (Marine Retailers Association of America). Those are respected reliable press outlets covering the tv show and establishing its notability. They provide evidence of significant coverage, and they are independent of the subject since they were not created by the show runners or the producers/owners of the TV show, nor anyone affiliated with it. Therefore your reasoning is not sufficient to delete this page, by the stated wikipedia rules. Travelbookguides (talk) 03:35, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

Hey I really think RSJAFFE should take another look at this article because the TV series features 2 famous celebrities that the press has covered fairly well. Boating Industry Magazine covered the news that the famous musician Brian Kelley (of Florida Georgia Line) was on the TV show, as did the Galati Yachts press team. The boats.com article discusses how Netflix Outer Banks director Jonas Pate was also featured in an episode of the TV show. These are notable, newsworthy topics about celebrities, that indicate the show is indeed noteworthy, so I really don't understand the feedback that was provided here. I am happy to get and link more articles, but I don't understand what other types of articles to link and cite. Travelbookguides (talk) 04:01, 14 September 2022 (UTC)

That's not true. Some are, many are not. There are plenty of articles. I am adding more now, and links to awards the series won. And the ones that you say are "copies of press releases" are not actually copies. Some are just referring to the announcement, and for some reason someone has gone in and labeled them as press releases. And you didn't reply to the fact that the news covered two celebrities that were featured in two different episodes of the TV show. How is this not noteworthy? I've provided more citations articles and links and added more information. I will continue to add info, there is a lot more out there. But this TV show is a public, noteworthy project featuring a number of high profile celebrities, scholars, scientists and a wide variety of topics across the country.
