Regarding the speedy notice[edit]

The notice clearly states "do not remove this notice from pages that you have created yourself. If you created this page and you disagree with this page's proposed speedy deletion, please explain why on its talk page, after adding the text "hangon" with two brace brackets into the article, following the {{db-reason}} tag at the top of the article:". Removing it again will be considered vandalism. ccwaters 14:21, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing speedy deletion notices from articles as it is considered vandalism. You may place {{hangon}} on the page and make your case on the article's talk page if you oppose an article's speedy deletion. Thanks. ccwaters 14:34, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Microsoft[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for experimenting with the page Microsoft on Wikipedia! Your test worked, and thank you for reverting or removing it yourself. The best way to do tests in the future would be to use the sandbox. You can look at these pages as well: how to edit a page, the tutorial, and how to write a great article. All of these pages are good places to start. Again, thanks, and we hope that you will like Wikipedia. --Geoffrey Spear 15:09, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia! We could really use your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Jeff elder) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. This is your final warning. ju66l3r 15:31, 25 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guide to your first article[edit]

Please take a moment to read our Guide to your first article. Wikipedia welcomes new contributors, but we do have certain standards for the kinds of article we accept. For instance, self-promotional articles and articles about non-notable people are discouraged. It would be very helpful for you to read this guide before making any more contributions. File:Chip tricks.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Chip tricks.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. The file File:Totalvid.LOGO.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Orphaned file, no foreseeable encyclopedic use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
