License tagging for Image:060504 H studentsTL.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:060504 H studentsTL.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 20:05, 3 October 2006 (UTC)

The image is fine now, as it has a copyright tag. --TheParanoidOne 19:32, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ben Swift to Team Sky[edit]

Has this been confirmed yet? Adambro (talk) 09:46, 4 January 2010 (UTC) Tonylyons (talk) 10:10, 4 January 2010 (UTC)Ben Swift... well it's on both the British Cycling pages(http://new.britishcycling.org.uk/sport/article/roa20100102--Sky-Pro-Team-Launch-0) and on cyclingnews.com[reply]

It was notable also that Ben was absent from the published Katusha roster released a few days ago. Sorry, I added this as a posting on your talk page too! TL

Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Tonylyons! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

A barnstar for you![edit]

The Original Barnstar
Just wanted to commend you for your contribution to British Cycling content, in particular your work on the wiki pages of Manchester cyclists Graham Jones and John Herety. Given your apparent background/knowledge in Manchester cycling history I was also wondering if you would be able to assist me in expanding the content of other wiki cyclists that competed in the Manchester area such as Bob Downs, Jeff Williams and Darryl Webster? Again, thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge Manchester cycling history. Macccy123456 (talk) 13:52, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for July 16[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited List of professional cyclists who died during a race, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Brian Phillips. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi. I noticed that you added a date of death to Alan Geldard's biography. Per WP:V, all material must be verifiable, so do you have a source for this information that we could include on the page? Canadian Paul 11:52, 10 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
