Saint Thomas Christians

[edit]

I have reverted your contribution at Saint Thomas Christians. Although the edit summary for the revert relates to the actions of someone else, your own edit relates to an issue that is currently being discussed at Talk:Saint Thomas Christians#Jewish descent. You are welcome to contribute to that discussion. - Sitush (talk) 23:13, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

And now I have had to revert your exact same edit again. You need to be aware that there are sanctions in place for articles such as Saint Thomas Christians. A discussion is taking place and you appear not to want to engage in it. Of course, you do not have to engage but until that discussion reaches some sort of consensus you should not keep reinstating this contested information. - Sitush (talk) 11:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Saint Thomas Christians. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing.--Cúchullain t/c 17:10, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
