Thanks for uploading Image:Crave.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Hello

[edit]

If you're considering creating an article about the romance of Cristian Vega and Evangeline Willamson, then I can help you with that. I haven't watched the show One Life To Live too frequently since Roger Howarth left as Todd Manning, but I know what is needed to make sure that a couple article is accepted here at Wikipedia. I see that you've uploaded an image of Cristian and Evangeline. I'll go ahead and properly tag that for you. Flyer22 11:35, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Please do not post copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder, as you did to Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites ({{{url}}} in this case) or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously, and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you believe that the article is not a copyright violation, or if you have permission from the copyright holder to release the content freely under the GNU Free Documentation License (GFDL) then you should do one of the following:

  • If you have permission from the author leave a message explaining the details on the article Talk page and send an email with the message to "permissions-en (at) wikimedia (dot) org". See Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for instructions.
  • If a note on the original website states that re-use is permitted under the GFDL or released into the public domain leave a note at Talk:Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson with a link to where we can find that note;
  • If you own the copyright to the material: send an e-mail from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en(at)wikimedia(dot)org or a postal message to the Wikimedia Foundation permitting re-use under the GFDL, and note that you have done so on the article Talk page. Alternatively, you may create a note on your web page releasing the work under the GFDL and then leave a note at Talk:Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson with a link to the details.

Otherwise, you are encouraged to rewrite this article in your own words to avoid any copyright infringement. After you do so, you should place a {{hangon}} tag on the article page and leave a note at Talk:Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson saying you have done so. An administrator will review the new content before taking action.

It is also important that all Wikipedia articles have an encyclopedic tone and follow Wikipedia article layout. For more information on Wikipedia's policies, see Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. CIreland 21:46, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop. If you continue to ignore our policies by introducing inappropriate pages, such as Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson, to Wikipedia, you will be blocked. Slp1 22:12, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It appears that you're trying to create an article about Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson. In this case, it would be important to list context - for instance, who are these people? I gather they're characters on a television show, perhaps - in that case, perhaps this could be included in a characters section for the show? Generally we don't have biographies of fictional people on the Wiki. Because I'm not intimately familiar with the rules for fictional characters, I would suggest that you start out by asking for help at The Village Pump and maybe someone there can help you. final warning

[edit]

This is the only warning you will receive for your disruptive edits. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did to articles about soap opera actors and characters, you will be blocked from editing.

You have for several days been adding articles that other editors have judges to be unacceptable & have repeatedly deleted, and made corresponding edits in page that other editors have reverted, and re-created deleted articles, not to mention adding content in violation of copyright. At the next unacceptable edit, you will be blocked. DGG 23:07, 10 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The help with your article you asked of me

[edit]

Thunderclap, please sign your name after you post any message on a talk page, by typing four tildes (~~~~).. It should go after your message. The parentheses is NOT included with it. I ask this of you, because it's Wikipedia policy and because I couldn't determine who you were without checking the history of edits on my talk page.

Okay, now on to the help of your article -- I can help you with making the Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson article, yes, but I'm not sure how many reliable sources, if any at all, I can acquire about the Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson couple to validate that they are a notable couple. If I don't have that, then your article will have a good chance of being deleted from Wikipedia yet again. You seem quite unfamiliar with some of the workings of Wikipedia. Let me inform you of a few things that a fictional couple article on Wikipedia needs in order to be of Wikipedia standards: First, there should be a sense of creation for the characters, how they were developed, and if not that, then how they were introduced or just the meeting of the pair that is neutral in point of view. Second, the plot summary, whether the introduction of the characters are a part of the plot summary or not, should be limited...and not copied from a website, and should also have a neutral point of view. Lastly, the couple's cultural impact needs to come into play -- they must be cited in at least one source from the outside press. In the case of outside press for soap operas, that means from magazines such as Entertainment Weekly, or any other news-reporting website that is NOT just about soap operas. Then the couple's other mentions of cultural impact can more so easily come from official soap opera websites, such as Soap Opera Central, stating that the couple is notable.

If we can accomplish all of this with the Cristian Vega and Evangeline Williamson article, then you will not have (shouldn't have) any worries in your article staying here at Wikipedia. Try to keep in touch with me on this matter, by leaving me a message here, or on my talk page, and make sure to sign your name. I will start looking for reliable sources for the possible Cristian Vega and Evangeline Willamson article. Also, as a tip that someone gave me when I was here only after several days of first signing up as an editor here at Wikipedia, create your talk page. It doesn't have to be elaborate or anything along those lines, and even if you only say, "Hi" on your talk page, it's better that your name appear in blue ink than in red ink, which will begin after you create your talk page. Orphaned non-free image (Image:Crave.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crave.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 00:15, 17 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Common name

[edit]

Hello, Thunderclap3000. Nice to see you again. I'm stopping by your talk page at this time to let you know that I moved the Kelly Kapowski Morris article back to its original name of Kelly Kapowski, and the Drucilla Barber Winters article back to its original name of Drucilla Winters. This was done due to common name. For what I mean on this matter, click on this link...and this link. I'll see you around. Flyer22 07:52, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Supercouple article

[edit]

Hey, Thunderclap. In order to add a couple to any of the supercouple lists within the Supercouple article here at Wikipedia, you must provide a valid sourced reference along with the couple you are adding, validating that they are a supercouple or an important couple within popular culture. If no valid sourced reference is provided with a couple that you add to one of the lists within the Supercouple article here at Wikipedia, then that couple will be removed.
