Nice subtle edit on Chief Kamiakin[edit]

I heartily approve of your change from "start an uprising against" to "resist" in the Chief Kamiakin article. Chronologically it makes a lot more sense since the Yakama, et al had not been "conquered" at that time. I'm likely the person who put in the original language. Anyway, I'm much more comfortable when other people take an interest in an article since the collaborative effort tends to produce better encyclopedia entries. I apologize it took such a long time to do it.

On a personal note, every mention of Salish languages reminds me of a long vacation I took in North America in 2010. While driving from Alberta to Missoula, I noticed a lot of signs in the local Salish language along the road. It was probably the Kalispel or Bitterroot variety. I guess that it's mostly symbolic: Sadly, none of the local people I asked about it knew anything about this language. In fact, they barely ever noticed the signs. I guess it's good to see this language present in public spaces in some way than not at all...

Thanks Amir! I'm pretty bad at navigating all the technical aspects so I'll definitely be reaching out for help. I'm glad you got to see some Montana Salish on your visit, folks from the n̓k̓ʷusm̓ immersion school in Arlee, MT are actually coming to visit my classroom at the Salish School of Spokane today so it's nice to hear that their preservation efforts stuck with you. Is there a time frame within which I need to finish at translatewiki or can I just peck away at it over the course of the coming year?
