Welcome

[edit]

Hello TherealRoxanna and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate encyclopedic contributions, but some of your contributions, such as the ones to Raven-Symoné, do not conform to our policies. For more information on this, see Wikipedia's policies on vandalism and limits on acceptable additions. If you'd like to experiment with the wiki's syntax, please do so in the sandbox (but beware that the contents of the sandbox are deleted frequently) rather than in articles.

If you still have questions, there is a new contributors' help page, or you can click here to ask for help on your talk page, and a volunteer should respond shortly. You may also find the following pages useful for a general introduction to Wikipedia.

I hope you enjoy editing and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Feel free to write a note on the bottom of my talk page if you want to get in touch with me. Again, welcome! KyleJoantalk 14:55, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove useful links from an article, such as you did in the article Raven-Symoné, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 04:51, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Raven-Symoné

[edit]

Information icon Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit you made to Raven-Symoné, did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Information icon Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Raven-Symoné. Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 20:06, 4 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Raven-Symoné. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. KyleJoantalk 11:08, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Genre warring at Graduation (album)

[edit]

Information icon Please refrain from removing genres or any other content verified by reliable sources within an article, as you did to Graduation (album), without establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. isento (talk) 01:47, 8 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
