Disambiguation link notification for November 2[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Benedict Cumberbatch, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Anna James. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Non-dab pages marked as dab pages[edit]

You seem to have added {{disambiguation}} templates to non disambiguation pages. I have fixed Michael Fassbender and will fix the others I have spotted. Please be more careful in future.--JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 12:12, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • This seems to be a result of using the "Dabfix" tool on non-disambiguation pages. I'd suggest that is something to avoid in future. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 12:31, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

MOSDAB[edit]

Hi there. I notice you've been adding a lot of elaborate descriptive text to disambiguation pages. Please note that, among many other things, WP:MOSDAB suggests "Keep the description associated with a link to a minimum, just sufficient to allow the reader to find the correct link. In many cases, the title of the article alone will be sufficient and no additional description is necessary." Description of the subject belongs in the article about the subject, not on the disambiguation page. --R'n'B (call me Russ) 12:33, 2 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]
