Pokemon episode list images

Please keep the images on the Pokemon episode lists. The images on the episode lists improve the article, and the images can idenitfy the key points of the episode, the summary can do that too, but some people like to see whats going on in the episode. (Yugigx60 17:35, 2 October 2006 (UTC))

It is out of my hands. -- Hybrid

Image discussion

You have been asked to participate in a mediation relating to the use images in articles detailing episodes of the Pokémon anime. If you wish to input into discussion, you can do so here, all help is welcomed towards a positive resolution. Cheers, Highway Daytrippers 21:05, 4 October 2006 (UTC)

Photos

I don't think that we are allowed to have copyrighted images on our talk pages. You can, however, have any photos that are GFDL, public domain, etc. But yes, the original Four Horsemen are THE heel stable to which all other heel stables must bow down. youngamerican (ahoy-hoy) 12:48, 11 October 2006 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't realize that. Thank you for letting me know. THL 05:31, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

That edit came up on my watch list too. I thought about it and let it go because it seemed like an attempt to say something constructive. I don't disagree with reverting it; it's almost unintelligible. Does it actually say anything useful? I don't know anything about the topic, so I have no way to judge. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 21:56, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for the update. I agree, it definitely needed to go. -- Jim Douglas (talk) (contribs) 22:09, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, I make lots of mistakes as a result of various factors.

Sorry about that; —Ortensia 18:57, 15 October 2006 (UTC)

Sorry

Well, sorry about that... I will not post on your user page. Do you like biochemistry and cosmology?

I am curious, why did you deconvert from Catholicism. I find it nonsense.

I allowed my parents to choose my religion for me. As I got older and learned more about it, the less convinced I was. When I finally learned about evolution, which my parents had sheltered me from, I became atheistic. THL 13:13, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

Hi THL

Re. Serebii.net

Well, it's not exactly hacking, but I discovered a way to extract images from Serebii. It uses Macromedia Flash MX, though, and if you haven't got that, might as well forget about it, or think up another way. But if you have: Highlight the image on Serebii and hit Ctrl+C (Copy). Then paste it into a blank Flash document. Then modify the document to make it the same size as the image. Then export the frame as a JPEG image, and that's it. Cheers, The Raven's Apprentice (Talk|Contribs) 05:05, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Always welcome. Anyways, I'm gonna do that with Misty's Hoenn image now. Cheers, The Raven's Apprentice (Talk|Contribs) 05:10, 25 October 2006 (UTC)

Misty likes Ash

The heading says it all. Put it in the article, please.--Rat235478683--

That is original research because the anime doesn't say it explicitly. I think she does to, but we can't put it in the article, sorry. THL 01:30, 26 October 2006 (UTC)

Video Games

Hey thanks for your comment ;). Well I am interested in pretty much everything with videogaming: That includes different platforms, soundtracks, programming (<I'm only interested in that, though I can't do it), requirements (such as HDTV and Surround sound). Basically that's why I chose the "addicted" userbox. Only thing I can't help you with is online gaming. I'm a solo player ^^. I WILL be joining the video game project...soon. Maybe tomorrow. I don't have that much time on my hands right now. (Me-pawel 22:56, 27 October 2006 (UTC))

Nonsense?

How is it nonsense? I added the correct information about Misty. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by LinkinPark (talkcontribs) .

You win!

Fine! You win... I realized that this issue is waste of time. Fine, just because no one in the anime practices religion does not make it an atheistic cartoon. I just got carried away with my atheism and my obessession with Pokémon. Just leave stuff on the talk page for Misty to see what stupidity this leads to, ok.

Please comment (the Cerebral Warrior issue)

User_talk:Cerebral_Warrior#A_Proposal_by_crazyeddie crazyeddie 15:59, 3 November 2006 (UTC)

I agree with your comment to WGee entirely. CW's userpage should not be censored as a punitive measure, but purely on the grounds of whether or not the userpage content violates policy. Each piece of content should be considered independently of the rest.

I should point out that I stipulated that a 2/3rds majority should be required for a piece of content to be removed. I also stipulated that CW should be the one doing the removal, and, that if he fails to do this, we should take the page as a whole to WP:MfD rather than taking matters into our own hands. (This assumes that the protection is lifted and he decides he doesn't like MONGO's version. If he leaves the 'pedia, then I think we can just lift the protection and leave MONGO's version in place.)

As the voting now stands, there is a simple majority in favor of deleting the Islamofacism userbox, but not a 2/3rds majority. I would strongly suggest that we do not change the rules mid-game, even though these rules of mine are completely ad hoc and not truly supported by any policy or guideline. I fear that there may be some outcry if, when the dust settles, there is still only a simple majority in favor of removing the Islamofacism userbox. Can I count on your support if this should happen? I feel very strongly that something as serious as censorship should not be left in the hands of a simple majority. crazyeddie 06:44, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you. crazyeddie 06:57, 6 November 2006 (UTC)

Hmm....

I don't understand how I made you mad during my last response in the talk page of the Pokémon collaboration project page. I said I gave up the atheism thing in my last message, and I admitted it is pointless to directly mentioned religion most of the articles regarding Pokémon. If I really wanted to push the atheism thing, I would have vandalized the Ash Ketchum article until it was protected, but I didn't. But even if I do get blocked, will I get blocked from editing Pokémon articles or articles from the entire encyclopedia. Ok, I will stop discussing this in the PCP talk page at your request, but I must remind you that it Brandon Dilbeck who encouraged me to go there:

From his current talk page:

"Look, if you really want this info about religion in the article, you would definitely get more response if you bring the idea up at the Pokémon Collaborative Project. There's a lot of high-status people there who seem more in charge of the Pokémon articles than me. I'm not the #1 guy to go to here."

Want to delete that discussion in PCP, go ahead. But I will not add anything to PCP regarding religion. Also, I think the Misty's alleged atheism was settled in the talk page so there is no need to revisit that again. I just wanted to clear up the definition of words like theory and hyhpothesis, and that issue is resolved. I see no reason to pursue that issue further.

So, I will stop bring this up at that discussion page.

Well, I am sorry for the "especially Christianity" addition. I wanted to emphasize that point as THAT section was explicitly about Christianity. LinkinPark 22:24, 4 November 2006 (UTC)

No sense of humor? Well, you said this on the Misty talk page:

"LOL. Yes, I am a ex-catholic. I can't believe I fell for that stuff. I'm actually laughing right now just thinking about it."

I think you are lying so you could present yourself a strict person who will tolerate little nonsense, but I will not pursue the religious issue anymore. I am content with saying religion is not mentioned in the anime in the criticism page although I think it is best to stress "Christianity" further. Fine, I get, no more mentioning religion.

Well, if you are telling the truth, try not to laugh when you read this: http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Kent_Hovind
It might be helpful to read Kent Hovind first. You will laugh when you realize how deluded that guy is. LinkinPark 04:16, 5 November 2006 (UTC)

I would like to learn how to write an article. Um... I only have an hour so we could work a little today and some more later. Is that Okay? Thanks, --Ælfwine 22:03, 16 November 2006 (UTC) Snicker snicker... I read your typo on Xero's page

About Harry Potter game Oddities

I have some stuff started, I can name a ton because I have beaten the game 9 times.

30 minutes left

Um okay

Well these really do nothing to the plot and would I put "Go talk to him when he walks toward you"? The section about "dying" to get past a block in the game would be related right? Also the gliches don't really affect the game they just are bugs that did not get removed from the game. One last thing. For your article I would suggest adding the "cloning" glich unless you already have. I.E. Putting the pokemon in the PC...save...turn off...you know. That is the way I got all three starter pokemon on Gold Version. Well thank you for all your help today. I will continue when I have the opportunity to. Thanks a Million, you boosted my confidence in my editing and my thoughts, --Frozen at 22:57, 16 November 2006 (UTC)

Quite a Year for Plums

Hey, I noticed you tagged Quite a Year for Plums for speedy deletion because there isn't much content, but I just created the page about 15 minutes ago... I haven't had time to build the page up yet. What can I do about this, besides beefing the article up as well as I can? LLBBooks 10:09, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

That is very helpful! I'll certainly do that... I didn't even know that was possible. Thank you for helping me... i'm still relatively new to this. Thanks, LLBBooks 10:20, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

Oh, OK! That makes sense. How nifty :) Now that I know that, i'll probably be doing that all the time now, hee. LLBBooks 10:29, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

I know exactly what you mean. I'm a Support Volunteer for LiveJournal, and that's the way I am over there... you get so caught up in trying to help people, and help the project that you don't often do yourself what the project was designed for. Good luck with your Wikipedia work, and let's hope we all get a little time to breathe soon! LLBBooks 10:45, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

OK, will do! LLBBooks 10:49, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

He's blocked.--Anthony.bradbury 01:23, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

What are you doing. You put it up for deletion but at least put the right tag on it. It is clearly not patent nonsense have you never heard of Marc Chagall and his famous paintings. The intial stub would have been expanded into an article like on eo fhis other paintings I and the Village. YOU think this should be deleted? Perhaps I could find a little more info but I have directed to the appropriate page Ernst Stavro Blofeld 11:06, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

Thats absolutely cool mate. If you have seen any of my 22,000 edits you will know that i usually start articles such as Shalu Monastery or William Garwood with a lot more detail. ! It's just it clearly wasnt nonsense just needed assertion of importance and detail. Ernst Stavro Blofeld 11:54, 19 November 2006 (UTC)

hey there & help!

Hi there The Hybrid, not really sure how to add rockazine.com to the Wikipedia. some of the myspacers requested we put it in here. our myspace page is; myspace.com/rockazine

that google stuff for rockazine.com

Hey there the Hybrid; here's the link: http://www.google.com/Top/Arts/Music/Styles/R/Rock/Magazines_and_E-zines/

[1]

the fanbase on myspace.com/rockazine is close to Eleven thousand [2] - and that's without mentioning the link on rockazine.com to date.

hope that helps!

Deletion tags

Hi there, once again; i don't know if you know, and you can tell me to vanish if you do, but there are a number of specified parameters for speedy deletion. You can find them at WP:SPEEDY. Using db-reason takes longer.--Anthony.bradbury 01:03, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

OK, fair enough. So long as we erase the vandals ASAP, it doesn't really matter how, does it.--Anthony.bradbury 01:08, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Roddenbury

Ok, I've marked it for watch, although I see that the speedy tag is currently in place. Yes, he has given you some grief, has he not?!!--Anthony.bradbury 01:16, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Sorted. OK?--Anthony.bradbury 01:18, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Vandals/Idiots

I think our comments are overlapping. I do not really understand the vandalism mentality. When we have a marvellous resource such as this encyclopedia being developed, why anyone would want to scribble mindless garbage in it beggars belief. but we have to accept that some people appear to get their jollies from doing that. Which is why you, and I, and many others do newpage patrolling. Happy wikying.--Anthony.bradbury 01:23, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for your support! It is well appreciated and noted. Cheers Seicer (talk) (contribs) 15:35, 21 November 2006 (UTC)

thankx! now about ROCKAZINE.COM "LOL"

rockazine.com "the home of commando journalism" It's been on the internet since 1997; created and owned by Sondra Faye, (BA New School University, NY - 7 years classically trained pianist, published poet [3][4][5], multimedia artist). After finishing assignments for Asbury Park Press as a rock journalist and photographer, she decided to walk away from corporate rock journalism. She along with a group of musicians, artists, poets, djs, filmographers, writers, recording engineers wanted to put out an internet magazine aka webzine that was about rocknroll and consisted of "working musicians / working artists " interviewers asking musicians/artists questions in a fun and entertaining format. No critics, No reviews. Jess Sapp, (BA Fine Art, SUNY, NY) was the originator of rockazine.com's web site design, and also a guitarist/fine artist. Christopher Poulen did the original recordings and is both a Drummer and a recording engineer/electrical circuitry inventor. Priscilla Hairriett , photographer, also a singer/ songwriter (currently in a band called Dirty-Blondes [6]) became the Director of Photography.
