October 2022[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Magnolia677. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Atlanta (season 4), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:33, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

There's no sources on this to cite. Season two has had "Opening" and "Closing" song tabs up for years and that page doesn't have any sources cited. It's just what the songs played are, and I'd appreciate it if you could revert it, considering that they're accurate. TheNavyShadow (talk) 13:38, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How do you know they are accurate? Magnolia677 (talk) 13:40, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Went to a website that lists songs used in a show, got the names of the opening and closing songs, listened to them enough to make sure they matched what I heard in the episode (which I then rewatched the scenes of). I've written all the summaries of the released episodes, I care about accuracy when it comes to this show. Is there something you'd like me to cite specifically? TheNavyShadow (talk) 13:44, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
If you have a reliable source stating what the songs are to each show, just cite that as your source. Magnolia677 (talk) 13:53, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Can do. If you wouldn't mind reverting the edits, I'll add what I used, and hell, I'll do seasons two and three too for good measure. TheNavyShadow (talk) 13:55, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you. Your edits are in the edit history. Magnolia677 (talk) 14:02, 29 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Atlanta (season 4), without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:39, 30 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I can understand the music, but that's a ridiculous claim. How do I know the title cards were that? Because I watched the episode. If you think I'm incorrect, you can also watch the episode. TheNavyShadow (talk) 19:02, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Also want to point out that the other three seasons have no such issue. They don't have sources cited on the music, except for season one, because there was a pre-existing article solely dedicated to the music. Anyone who thinks I'm wrong can fact check it for themselves, and if they find I'm wrong or have their own source, they can cite it. This isn't a historical fact that anyone can make up. This is five seconds from a piece of television that most people can access. I'm sorry to be so blunt, but this is getting ludicrous. TheNavyShadow (talk) 19:04, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I've written every summary on this page. Are you telling me I need to cite those using Hulu links? No, you're not, because nobody does that for television. I have written literally every summary for this show on these season pages and they've all been accurate. I have no reason to lie about title cards and music choices, and there's nothing to cite. I would understand if this was hazy information that was hard to access and there were articles written about them, or if I was talking about the thematics of the episode and needed to cite a writer or director so as not to just plaster my opinion on there, but this is simply what happened. TheNavyShadow (talk) 19:19, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
so want to point out that you have no contributions to this article other than undoing my perfectly fair and accurate edits. I don't understand why this is the hill you're choosing to make your stand on.l TheNavyShadow (talk) 19:22, 31 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
