Wondering if you know why Stephen Ames was placed in Category 9 for 2013, when he hasn't won a PGA Tour tournament the last couple years. Last one he won was back in the Fall of 2009 -- is that really enough wins to carry over to 2013 eligibility? HipolitoPichardoDisciple (talk) 19:22, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering that myself and finally found the answer here [1]. Tewapack (talk) 19:53, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks. On a side note, I wish the PGA Tour would do what the European Tour does for each tournament, which is list out the field by exemption category and ranking within that category. PGA Tour instead just lists the entire tournament field alphabetically, without regard to their status. So you always have to assume the golfer who "doesn't belong" is in there due to a sponsor exemption, but that's of course not always the case. They've started doing this, see here. Tewapack (talk) 15:25, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Shouldn't Adam Scott be moved from Category 6 to 3? HipolitoPichardoDisciple (talk) 12:59, 5 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
