RFC/U on you

[edit]

What RfC/U CANNOT do is:

  • Impose/enforce involuntary sanctions, blocks, bans, or binding disciplinary measures;

What RfC/U CAN do is:

  • Allow a number of users to collaborate in discussing wider issues they see with a particular editor's conduct.
  • Allow an editor who is the subject of an RFC/U to understand the problems, and change or explain their conduct.
  • Allow users to share information which might be relevant for later steps in the dispute resolution process, should that become necessary.
  • An RfC is a tool for developing voluntary agreements and collecting information.
  • An RfC may bring close scrutiny on all involved editors. In most cases, editors named in an RfC are expected to respond to it. The Arbitration Committee closely considers evidence and comments in RfC if the editors involved in the RfC are later named in a request for arbitration.

Above are explanation on What an RFC/U is. Please note several things

  • We cannot "Impose/enforce involuntary sanctions, blocks, bans, or binding disciplinary measures;"
  • Also note "An RfC may bring close scrutiny on all involved editors" So please be aware that if you think their is misconduct involved on our part you are entitled to draw attention to it.
  • I have not suggested that it is my desire nor anyone elses to have you kicked off wikipeidia as in some areas you do good work.
  • Please that other editors will be reviewing evidence and Give outside views on the material provided.
  • You may post a response to allegations "here" and present any material that is left out or how you feel about the situation including evidence of poor judgement on our parts.

I hope that this RFC/U will result in Allowing you to understand the problems, and change or explain your conduct. Weaponbb7 (talk) 16:30, 2 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated List of Auto Club 500 broadcasters, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Auto Club 500 broadcasters. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Orphaned non-free image File:Max Eckhardt.jpg

[edit]
⚠

Thanks for uploading File:Max Eckhardt.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
  • If you receive this notice after the image is deleted, and you want to restore the image, click here to file an un-delete request.
  • To opt out of these bot messages, add {{bots|deny=DASHBot}} to your talk page.
  • If you believe the bot has made an error, please turn it off here and leave a message on my owner's talk page.

Thank you. DASHBot (talk) 05:42, 17 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The article List of Shelby American broadcasters and all similar items in Template:NASCAR on television and radio have been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Wikipedia is not a directory - WP:NOTDIR. See also Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Auto Club 500 broadcasters.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. NASCAR

[edit]

Yes, I know a lot about NASCAR, however more to the point I'm familiar with our policies on what makes a suitable article. A mere list of statistics does not. I'd point to WP:NOTDIR, WP:NOTSTATS and WP:IINFO. Black Kite (t) (c) 06:53, 19 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Re from my talk

[edit]

Greetings TMC1982, instead of making rampant accusations of my bias against you please review what I said earlier. If you wish to make a defense make it in the proper venue. Remember calling a Spade a spade is not a personal attack. I do not have any bias against you, merely concerns as outlined in the RFC. You need listen to what the people there are saying especially Snottywong, who has offered and outside view and has not been involved in a dispute with you before. Fair use rationale for File:DoylemurrayWeekendUpdate.gif

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:DoylemurrayWeekendUpdate.gif. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 20:30, 29 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
