A tag has been placed on Transfer path analysis requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. May 2009[edit]

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages with blank content, as you did to Transfer path analysis. Blank pages are harmful to Wikipedia because they have a tendency to confuse readers. If it is a duplicate article, please redirect it to an appropriate existing page. If the page has been vandalized, please revert it to the last legitimate version. If you feel that the content of a page is inappropriate, please edit the page and replace it with appropriate content. If you believe there is no hope for the page, please see the deletion policy for how to proceed. blurredpeace 21:20, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Transfer path analysis, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. blurredpeace 21:32, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for removing copyrighted text from Transfer path analysis. Wikipedians are generally discouraged from removing speedy deletion templates from pages that they created. Since you have removed the copyrighted text, I will not reinstate the speedy deletion tag; however, I will likely nominate the page at Articles for Deletion. BassoProfundo (talk) 21:52, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have nominated Transfer path analysis, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Transfer path analysis. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. TexasAndroid (talk) 22:17, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Talk pages[edit]

I noticed that you placed a note to administrators and other editors in the Transfer path analysis article. It is easier to contact other editors by posting on the article's talk page; Wikipedia:Tutorial (Talk pages) has a great tutorial on using Wikipedia's talk page feature. You may also want to check out the article's deletion discussion.

I like your idea of developing the page outside of the main Wikipedia article space until it is ready for inclusion. I've gone ahead and created the page User:Swarnkarsudhir/Transfer path analysis, where you can work on the article without publishing it and without the risk of deletion that faces the current article. When you think it is ready (feel free to ask me!), you can copy that page's text into a new article where the old one was. Thanks for contributing, and thanks for cooperating in bringing the article up to Wikipedia's standards. BassoProfundo (talk) 23:19, 29 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I moved Transfer path analysis (now deleted) over the top of User:Swarnkarsudhir/Transfer path analysis, and then restored the deleted edits so the edit history would be complete. Feel free to work on the article until it is ready to be released. ···日本穣? · Talk to Nihonjoe 20:33, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
