Speedy deletion of Sudharshan[edit]

A tag has been placed on Sudharshan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Vianello (talk) 15:16, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your page's deletion nomination[edit]

If your (at least, I presume based on your username that this page you created is about you) films are indeed that popular, then you should be able to provide some outside sources to prove it, shouldn't you? "I don't want this page to be deleted" isn't a reason not to, and neither is claiming your films are popular without proving it. Take a look at WP:DELNOM for a little unofficial but experience-wrought advice on dealing with deletion nominations. - Vianello (talk) 15:23, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • I ahve moved the page to become your user page. Please remember: this is not a social networking site - user pages are for people who edit Wikipedia. Autobios are strongly discouraged - when you become notable, someone will write an article about you. — RHaworth (Talk | contribs) 17:02, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of "BondaBajji-The boss"[edit]

The deletion of an article you created, BondaBajji-The boss, has been proposed for the following reason:

Movie with no asserted notability. No secondary sources.

You are welcome to improve the article to meet Wikipedia's quality standards and remove the deletion notice from the article. You may also remove the notice if you disagree with the deletion, though in such cases, further discussion may take place at Articles for deletion, and the article may still be deleted if there is a consensus to do so.

Wikipedia has certain standards for inclusion that all articles must meet. Certain types of article must establish the notability of their subject by asserting its importance or significance. Additionally, since Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, content inappropriate for an encyclopedia, or content that would be more suited to somewhere else (such as a directory or social networking website) is not acceptable. See What Wikipedia is not for the relevant policy. You may wish to read our introduction to editing and guide to writing your first article.
