  • Hi. You may wish to take a look at WP:YFA and WP:MOS before writing your next article. Take a look at other articles as well to get a better idea of the sort of formatting and tone this site requires. It'll save a lot of cleanup work for yourself and other editors. Thanks again. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 00:00, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Bartholomew Versus The Wheel requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later." You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Daffy Duck episodes[edit]

Thank you for helping build Wikipedia! Unfortunately, it would be better if you read the Wikipedia:Manual of Style, as ALL CAPS makes other editors want to delete on sight. Also, articles need to have reliable sources and real world significance. Plot summaries are best not included unless they are very concise. They also should no be copy-and-pasted from elsewhere. Please see Astro Duck to see what I mean. Cheers, Dlohcierekim 22:01, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of The Astroduck, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://toolooney.goldenagecartoons.com/astroduck.htm. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 00:50, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop copying text from goldenagecartoons.com. Any further copyright violations will result in a block. Acroterion (talk) 01:07, 2 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

CSD A7 of BRIAN SHARPE[edit]

Notability of BRIAN SHARPE[edit]

A tag has been placed on BRIAN SHARPE requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. ——Mr. E. Sánchez Wanna know my story?/ Share yours with me! 21:15, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

July 23rd, 2008[edit]

Please do not remove information from articles without explaining why, as you did today with Granite Run Mall. Doing so without explaining why in the edit summary could result in you being warned or banned from editing.

I understand you are new to Wikipedia and still learning how to use the site. Additionally, it's not necessary to add words like "spot" or "location" to the end of department store lists, like you did on the Boscov's page.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask someone on their talk page.

Continued[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Looney Tunes. When removing text, please specify a reason in the edit summary and discuss edits that are likely to be controversial on the article's talk page. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the text has been restored, as you can see from the page history. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia, and if you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you delete or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did to Looney Tunes, you will be blocked from editing. FMAFan1990 (talk) 05:33, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

August[edit]

Please stop introducing jokes into articles, such as those you created at 1978-79 United States network television schedule (Saturday morning). Wikipedia is a serious encyclopedia, and contributions of this type are considered vandalism. Continuing to add jokes and other disruptive content into articles may lead to you being blocked from editing. Dl2000 (talk) 03:01, 13 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for October 14[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Salem Saberhagen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page ABC Kids (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 11:12, 14 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
