December 2009[edit]

Your recent edits to Wendi Deng could give Wikipedia contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Wikipedia itself. Please note that this is strictly prohibited under Wikipedia's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Wikipedia, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. The editor clearly summed up the changes made as removal of material that violates WP:BLP criteria. Threatening another editor with suspension serves no purpose except to incite further ill will, and definitely makes no headway in ensuring a given article is complete or correct. In any case you are cautioned strongly against making any such threats in the future. See WP:LEGAL and WP:NPA for further guidance. Thank you. --Alan (talk) 16:31, 26 December 2009 (UTC) Alan (talk) 16:31, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
