I made a page for Bill Walczak which someone subsequently flagged as potentially not meeting the guidelines for a notable individual. So I've added some more primatry sources. Am I -- it the page -- OK now?

See Wikipedia:Notability (people)#Politicians, especially Note #3. As an unelected candidate, Wikipedia doesn't recognise independent notability for him, from what is currently included in the article, as a candidate or any other individual achievement. It might be possible to reorganise the article to one about the Boston mayoral election, which should mention all declared and declined candidates equally. Hi Srlbraintree, as you may have seen from the Articles for deletion discussion, Bill Walczak may possibly meet Wikipedia's general notability criteria. Dru of Id was quite correct that, as of last week, the article looked like it was simply written to raise the profile of a non-notable local politician. However, coverage about Walczak's past (non-politics) activities may demonstrate he is widely known over a much longer period. I see you've been adding some additional news sources about his activities, so you are obviously on the right track. Good luck!

Hello, Srlbraintree. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
