The article Centurion Reactor has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I'm just taking a wild guess here and say it's probably a copyright-violation of the given source.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. A tag has been placed on Centurion Reactor requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Response to Seb az86556: The article is NOT a copyright infringement. I am the author of the referenced article. The term was coined as a generic term in the power engineering field to describe a class of nuclear power plants that are discriminated by their longevity. Does this help with the confusion ? This is my first post to Wikipedia, so I'm not really sufficiently knowledgeable about all of the protocol issues here know that I'm responding in the correct venue...

Hello, and thank you for your response.
I have seen your username and the reference, and I did notice the similarity; however, please understand that anyone could claim to be you, and (assuming you are the author) this a way of protecting your intellectual property.
Secondly, I have replaced the deletion-tag with "Underconstruction," which gives you a while to sort this out.
As it stands, it is difficult to discern what the article is about. Usually, the word or phrase given as the article's title is defined in an intro ("what is a Centurion Reactor?"), then some other passages follow to go into detail. If you could rewrite it in that way, it could make for an interesting article. Again, thank you for your contributions. (Your page is on my "watchlist", so whether you respond here or on the article's "discussion"-page, I will see that.) Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 15:45, 24 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Response from S.R. Greene. Thank you. I will be happy to do this if you can give me a few days to get through the Christmas holiday. I'll review the tutorial material and take another crack at it. I appreciate your patience as I learn my way around. Cheers, and Merry Christmas!

refs[edit]

Hi -- I fixed the refs for you. The text goes between the <ref name=r1>(here)</ref> the first time you use it. after that, you can keep using <ref name=r1/>. Can be confusing; not the citation style you learn in college ;) Choyoołʼįįhí:Seb az86556 > haneʼ 18:57, 26 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

THANK YOU SO MUCH. I'm slowly trying to address the issues you raised, learn how to post correctly, and balance a bunch of holiday demands on my time. I really do appreciate your help. Hopefully I will be able to do some of the tutorials over the next several days and bootstrap my knowledge level. Again, I do appreciate you help and your patience....
